Could be a good place if not so comercial about everything. This place more about business than about art. Be ready spend money there.

The village is easily located about 1 km past Big C.
It’s extremely quant, with beautiful little studios to stroll through and admire/ purchase some lovely art works.
There’s a couple of restaurants overlooking a small lake, which is filled with water lilies.

I can only review the restaurant at this attraction. The main village wasn't open when we stopped for something to eat on the way back from a temple. Along with my wife and three Thai friends, we dropped in on the off chance and were treated to an excellent Thai meal with outstanding service. The food was probably the best Thai meal I had in the fortnight. Worth having a bit of lunch if you are passing or actually visiting the artist village

We live quite near to this restaurant, and there are so many good eateries with a couple of kms of our house, and this is no exception, good Thai food, reasonably priced, situated overlooking a lake, most nights they have a couple of singers on, great chef making a good selection of starters and main courses, cor moo yang, satays etc, staff all very friendly and chatty, and it is attached to an artists village, where you can look and buy pictures, statues etc, a very pleasant experience.

If you want a personal painting you will find some great artist in a village that cost $40 that to see. We found a local artist down an alley close to ROMA italian food, showed him a picture and he painted us an original for $5000 that. This was after we viewed 4 other artists along the way blocks from each other in Hua Hin. You can find better deals with great art work it really depends what you want cab ride from central Hua hin 200 that
