Mama Ray`s little paradise is like coming home. We enyoed the time very
much! The food is the best in whole Arusha and it’s a really nice little
“Restaurant” where you can sit, watch the stars at night and listen to
all the interesting noises from the forest while eating.
The rooms are very nice and lovely and if you need one more blanket you get one, of
course.

Here you can have all Insider Tips you need for "Survival" in
Arusha ;). The Lodge is just 10 min walk away from the Main Road (Moshi-
Nairobi- Road). If you need transportation (for example from/ to the
airport) the son Ray is driving you for a little money. He is very kind
and a very secure driver!!

Sometimes, when there's a power break down
Mama Ray is very good prepared for it. You get a very romantic candle
light dinner, she'll give you enough lamps for the house and even if you
need to charge your mobile phone she has solutions. No problem! Power
breaks happening every day in Africa - this is Africa ;).

So just enjoy
this different live in this wonderful country. If you want to have a
incredible stay in Arusha with a familiar athmosphere, very good typical food and a lot of
privacy in the nature, you really have to go to Mama Ray!

Karibu- Welcome, a affectionate reception is the slogan of the Songota
Falls Lodge in Arusha.

I visited Songota for a day walking safari to the Songota Falls and it was amazing. We had a lunch in the middle of the bush and this was fantastic. Joyce, the owner of Songota arranged everything for us including the meals. We highly recommend Songota for any traveller who is looking for a mid-range accommodation with good service. we thank Joyce arranging unexpected adventure and a delicious meal for me and my family.

Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay really nice. Raymond picked us up at the airport and shuttled us around to a myriad of shops in the busy markets. The property is comfortable and quiet. It is 10 minutes outside the traffic and noise of Arusha. Although we arrived late, Joyce had prepared a huge and excellent dinner which was waiting for us. We stayed before and after our safari and it was well worth it!

Room Tip: All rooms are private bungalows.

We had so much fun at Sangota Falls lodge. The food was so delicious and Mama Ray looked for us as their own children. The place is very silent and the rooms are very comfortable. And there is also a great view from this place. In January we will come back because we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Mama Ray for the great holiday.

Joice the owner is very warm and kind.
She and her son helped us with arrangments in Arusha.
The rooms are very intimate and clean. there is plenty hot water in the shower.
there is a laundry service with at a reasonable price.
If you feel like going to a walk there is a near by waterfall.
The food is amazing!!!
Highly recomended!!!
