The lodge is located not far from the Clock Tower, near a bank with ATM if needed.
The grounds are nice and the coffee place is lovely, with very good espresso and cappuccino. Swimming pool area looks nice.
The staff at reception is nice and friendly.
If you book taxis via hotel, though, we realized that the cost you will be charged is almost double than what you can bargain with taxis from the street.
This is a medium range hotel, and we were three friends booking a quadruple room.
We were given a three beds room, which was ok per se, but the third bed was a kids bed. It would have been better if it were a real bed in terms of length and comfort.
We were caught in a storm that created some issues with electricity and internet, which did not come back. Internet is not available anyway in the rooms. Some areas of the hotel had electricity, and some had none hours after the storm.
Breakfast is very good!
For what you get I think it is overpriced, but it’s true that Arusha is expensive in general.More
