True to description and all other reviews this is a superb little hideaway. It is inmacculately clean with well kept gardens. The staff are exceptional especially Indika. Anything you want can be organized. Congratulation to all the staff including kitchen cooks for doing such a good job. Paula, Australia

We found this place as were staying nearby. We firstly asked if we could use the pool as our place had no pool, we were told yes, as long as we used the restaurant, which seemed fair to us. We ended up eating here more than once as the food was amazing, try the devilled beef or the 5 dish curry.
The prices were very reasonable (starters, main and three drinks each for two of us came to £20) and the waiter Indika was fantastic, friendly and helpful, showed us the fruit bats that fly over at at dusk, brought out a scrabble game for us to play as we lay round the pool, and gave us advice on how to use the bus which saved us a lot of money on tuktuks

Stayed here with two friends for 3 nights , the location is superb on the river front with a stunning pool just outside the 6 rooms they have .
Service was great and staff couldn’t be more helpful .
Due to its location there are mosquitos but this is normal for most locations just come prepared .
Rooms good size with everything you need .
Food was enjoyable .
Easy tuk tuk ride (300lkr) to centre or either of the 2 train stations .
Tip: if travelling on to colombo check all options and remember there are 2 rail stations nearby .

A super peaceful heaven with 6 rooms only on the very bank of the Bentota river. Wonderful kitchen. Clean and lagre pool. Strong wifi. Fridge and good AC in the room. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Free boat service to the beach and to shopping. Will definately recommend this place. Loved it!

This is a small hotel directly on Bentota lagoon. The rooms are great - I prefer the upstairs rooms rather than those directly off the pool. As in Sri Lanka generally, service was excellent. The hotel arranged some very well priced trips for us - including Ayurvedic massages. The boat service to the beach was a great way to experience both boating and beach. The restaurant area is very pleasant and Sri Lankan meals were good though the quality was a little patchy. The poolside area was addictive and the pool itself was v clean and inviting. Would stay there again.
