Well, if you spent some type touring Korea, you will see that many buildings are reconstructions. This one is not and it is nice to see. Make sure to see a movie about the construction and history about it. Located next to the observatory.

A very peaceful place to be at.

You will learn and walk through the remains and plots of land where palaces once stood.

Pretty easy to get here.
KTX to Singyeongju Station.
Take bus 60/61 to Cheomseongdae.
You can use T-Card to pay.
Its very clear and obvious. You won't miss it.

Walk around the place. Its pretty huge, with Wolji Pond on the next street.

We went to see this as part of a wider tour, so the guide was able to explain all about its history which made it more interesting.
It's a really well built structure and has stood he test of time... we visited it shortly after a local earthquake and there was someone here already taking photos to check for any movement... non detected I believe. (So efficient).
Without a guide explaining it is just another stone tower but... if possible get and guide and learn more about it.

Its just a small tower, nothing much. There was festival when we went, so we kindda enjoyed it nevertheless.

It was a very worthwhile trip, our whole group enjoyed the observatory and the Pink grass nearby, we also rented a cart to go from one attraction to the other. We will definitely come back! :)
