Review of Sea of Galilee

Reviewed 6 April 2018 via mobile

The Christian Bible tells the stories of Jesus, and many are centered on the Sea of Galilee. After getting in a boat and sailing out for an hour or so now I cannot read those stories again without thinking “I have been there. I know what that looks like.” For a Christian this is an essential spiritual experience - do not forgo it!

Went boating which was a blast. The water was warm, perfect for swimming! You’ll need water shoes though, as their are rocks close to shore.

There’s a waterfall near the Primacy of St. Peter’s (or Peter’s Primacy) which flows to the Sea of Galilee.

Water flows at a quick rate, making it a good place for a back massage, and probably one of the cleanest places to swim in the sea. (The other parts of the sea are not as clean and some are strewn with litter.)

Was pretty sure we were the only foreigners there; many locals were there during the holidays, some even barbecuing.

A visit to the Sea of Galilee is not complete without swimming in it, and the falls make a great entry point!
