During many trips to Israel, our favorite outing for both our tour company travelers and ourselves is a wine tasting with Denis and Omri, sommeliers in the St. Urban Wine Bar. Dennis and Omri, as well as their staff including Adam and Eleanor, are very knowledgeable about Israeli wines, the growing specifics, the history of wine makaing in Israel, and the region. They conduct wine tastings in the ever so pleasant wine cellar of The Scots Hotel in Tiberias which has an interesting history to explore. They also own the wine shop at the Yardenit. We cannot recommend them highly enough if you are interested in the wines of Israel, the Golan Heights, and the Galilee area.

If I need to reccommend a place by the sea of galilee that one can have a great time of leisure, then that's it. Love the wines, the settings and especially the people and its services. Will drive a 1000 miles to have wine there. Don't miss it!

St. Urban Wine Bar delivered a very enjoyable wine tasting experience during my recent visit to Israel. First of all, it was held in their wine cellar, which lent a very pleasant atmosphere. Secondly, I enjoyed every single wine that they featured, which is very unusual. Typically, I only like a couple of wines out of six tasted. If you're in the area, be sure to drop by and sample their delicious selections of locally grown and blended wines!

We had the BEST time during our wine tasting at St Urban Wine Bar. One of the highlights of our trip to Israel. The owners were so friendly and fun while answering every question we had regarding the different types of wines. Highly recommend!
