Description: Kalimera is a restaurant situated in one of the most beautiful locations in the world - Jaffa harbor - one of the most ancient in the universe. From one side of the restaurant there is a view of the Old City of Jaffa, and spread out on the other side is the Mediterranean. "Kalimera uses table ware from Vietnam, colors from Greece, the products are from the Far and Near East, and the cuisine is Israeli, talented and full of passion.

Had lunch there after a stroll in the nice Jaffa port, we weren't starving when we sat down.
The restaurant's atmosphere is very Greek like, with white furniture and Greek music playing.
However food portions are insulting size wise, the focaccia starter was thin and long and it was barely enough for one person.
Main courses where good but very small, we left the place hungry...
Not a good value for the money.

Kalimera was recommended by friend. Plenty of free parking near bye, stunning Jaffa port views make a big benefit for location.
We tried few different meals - meat, fish, sea food - everything was excellent!
If you happen to be there between 12 -18, you can get business deal - pay for main dish and get appetizer (real size portion) and drink
The atmosphere is quiet, music was nice and not too loud, service is very good.

We entered Kalimera by chance and it was a great surprise.
Even though the menu contained only two vegetarian main dishes, The risotto (Rosie) was excellent!
My husband took the seafood dish named "Lilli" and he couldn't get enough of the sauce. Our waiter (that was the bartender) really gave as the right information and recommendation, and had an overall great attitude.
We enjoyed very much and we will visit again.

We had a very lovely experience at this restaurant. I personally had the best pasta I have eaten since we are in Israel 16 years ago.
