I have stayed at the Dan twice now and agreed to work booking it this time round,in case I had missed something the first time round.

No, I haven’t,it’s still very average. The location and the pool are probably why it has such a high rating but the staff are rude, unhelpful and don’t understand you when you speak English. This morning upon check out I had a ‘computer says no’ moment when work had settled my bill and they still made me pay, they didn’t even look at the email or bother getting someone more senior to check why the payment wasn’t showing up. I gave up as she stared blankly at the computer screen with a face like a sour puss, kept re-typing the same things on the keyboard and just repeating ‘no’ so I gave up.

I had also requested an early breakfast upon check in ,as I had a very early check out, again, the receptionist said she had done it, breakfast never appeared.

Both times I have found one pube in the bathroom, the carpets are stained and the rooms just generally feel unclean. So I don’t sleep well which makes me really grouchy .As I am always here on limited time, I spend most of the time out and just shower with flip flops on so I don’t catch anything. On one day my room wasn’t even cleaned.

On a plus note the breakfast when you actually go to get it, is nice and the views are very relaxing. The staff in the breakfast area are lovely and bring you coffee and juice, even though the juice is self service. The staff in the beach restaurant Yam 7 are lovely too.

I really hope that if I have to return, that this hotel is not my only option.

We stay in this hotel already many many years. I Very good and friendly hotel. Beautiful garden, swimming pool etc . Direct access to beach. Overlooking beach and sea. Improved their dining area tremendously and also rooms and corridors . Only objection on Saturday's and holydays it is primarily local population and one feels somewhat overwhelmed by the amounts of people. Also it would be nice to have some entertainment. Location is perfect.

My family and I return to dan Acadia every year for the past 16 years.
We celebrate rosh Hashanah dinner and spend the vacation in the hotel.
The hotel is spacious, near the local mall, and has a easy access to the beach.
Some of the facilities could use an upgrade but the past few years it seems that the hotel is doing so.
Staff is friendly and dinning room is clean and food is grate.
Would highly recommend!

When you are going on a holiday at a resort what are you looking for? Good weather, fabulous food, great pool and beach, wonderful service. We were not disappointed at the Accadia. Do not look any further if you are thinking about visiting Herzliya!

We decided to have a stroll along the ever-so-amazing Herzliya Boulevard, in search of the best location to enjoy our 'start-of-the-weekend' drinks & lunch.

Initially, we walked in the Daniel Hotel, let's just keep it short and mention that we turned around pretty quick and decided not to stay there all that long. It looks old, unattentive staff, poor maintenance & let's just say that it 'wasn't what we had in mind for a luxurious start of our weekend'.

We kept on walking, and ended up at the Dan Acadia Hotel. Many, many (did I say 'many' yet) years ago one of us already stayed in this hotel, and the other had a business meeting here, proofing just how long they've been around already.

We had a wonderful lunch, very friendly staff, an eye for detail & yes, also very clean. Even before we noticed it, a glass that just fell on the floor had already been cleaned and taken care of (yes, as it should be!).

Good for lunch, relaxation and we'll be sure to come back here on our next couples-weekend-getaway!
