A short drive north of Taos and a pleasant surprise. Gooood chocolate malt on a warn summer day. Worth the trip.

Great sandwiches at a good price. I love the turkey club and the turkey & Brie, both really yummy. The chips they serve with them were heavy tortilla chips - could be better. Awesome ice cream and some fun unusual flavors, like the pistachio whites chocolate chip! Good stuff and fun place to sit out on the deck. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is quaint and feels comfortably like home. The menu is not overly extensive but everything sounds and looks good. I had the gyro with delicious meat, perfect sauce and the most flavorful and soft pita bread. Since this place is known for its ice cream, I went "overindulged" with a waffle cone with a scoop of roasted pinon caramel and another one of Mexican chocolate. The best treat ever!

Nice quaint place with good breakfast and coffee. The counter help is polite and lines are short. Afternoon breakfast you can stretch your legs walking over to nearby shops.

Our first visit to Taos Cow, we split a very good Reuben sandwich and then enjoyed a scoop of ice cream each. The ice cream is justifiably famous -- not as heavy-cream as some, and to my taste, more refreshing and delicious! Our second visit, a few days' later, was just for a quick take-out lunch. Partner had an egg/bacon sandwich on a bagel which he loved; I had black beans, brown rice, and fresh avocado -- absolutely fabulous (!) - hot and a bit spicy and very flavorful. What a great surprise!
