Make a reservation in advance, because it is a small cafe in the middle of a small village, they only have a few table.
The tuna pizza and spaghetti carbonara are so good.

My wife and I were staying for a week at the Mercure and the food there got a little tiresome. So we took taxi's and ate out at Anjela's on two evenings. You MUST call ahead if you want pizza. We had a delightful time on both occasions. Very nice people/owners and the food is authentic Italian. It's a very modest facility but it's clean and the food is great. We enjoyed a nice visit with the owners both times. Get directions via your cell phone beforehand.

My wife and I went out to the Angela Cafe for the first time this past week and we were blown away. Finding it is not super easy, but the local folks can get you there. Ask if you’re lost!
But, the food is worth the drive!
We had salad, pasta with pesto, and pizza....all delicious! Cannot wait to go again.

Whenever I am in Manado, a visit to Anjela's Cafè is a must for me.
The food is very tasty and fresh, the restaurant is cosy and sparkling clean. We enjoyed pizza (nice and crispy), pasta with pesto (made with real italian basil), simple but great salad and very cold beer.
I heard that the local food is very good, too, but sofar I haven't tried it; maybe next time!

This is some of the best pizza I have eaten. It has a thin thin crust and delicate topping. We were delighted to have a salad. The Indonesian pork noodles were also good. The small restaurant is in a quiet country location very close to Mecure and Manado. We enjoyed being surrounded by greenery and watching the chickens strut in and out of the grass and shrubbery. The children were able to run about outside (supervised by one more of us) while we ate. The hosts were gracious and friendly.
