Your experience begins the moment you step into the hotel with the greetings of very welcoming staff. We reccomend you book one of the cocoons, they have spectacular views of the well lit ayoung river and are so romantic for a couples dinner. We ordered the 5-course degustation (which i highly reccomend) and it was out of this world! Also their cocktails are amaaazing! Special thanks to Supadra our waiter and Bayu Retno Timur the head chef who came out to greet us as we finished our dessert

We love the bamboo style restaurant and the place is beautifully lit in the night. The food is so delicious with creative presentation.

We tried the 5-course Degustation menu for a high class dinner - worth at least one Michelin star. Our recommendation: Try to reserve a table in one of the cocoons (small huts) overlooking beautiful Ayung river.

We had dinner in Kubu just a couple of days after the hotel opening. The feel of luxury and indigenous hospitality is felt from the moment you arrive at the hotel. Although we didn't stay in the hotel, it is certainly an absolute masterpiece and a game of its own in uniqueness. We had very high expectations for a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Mandapa didn't let us down. Staff amazing, genuine and super friendly and helpful. All details in the restaurant are absolute top notch and you can see the pride on the staff's eyes for such a great product and environment. Food was of a Michelin star level with no doubts. We had the tasting menu and every single course was just memorable. The Executive Chef took the time to meet guests and that was a very nice touch. Service was excellent and very attentive. We were a group of 5 very demanding foodies and we all agreed that Kubu and the team deserves top scores and adds up to a must visit in anyone's itinerary in Ubud and even Bali.
