Description: The Sayan House RESTAURANT offers a Japanese-Latin Fusion cuisine. The Chef has used his world-wide experiences of tastes and cooking to unify them in his plates, giving traditional dishes a new look and flavour. In the open-air environment of our home, you may enjoy an elegant yet cozy dining experience in various settings: - Two main dining areas hosting up to 70 seats namely the Dining Room and Veranda. The latter unveils an exceptionally stunning view of Sayan from the edge of its Cliff, overlooking the Ayung river and gorge. - We furthermore provide a private dining space, The Guest Room, which seats up to 10 people. - Lastly, a Teppanyaki grill table with a specially selected menu is available for 7 seats, where our Chef prepares each dish to perfection in front of you. The Sayan House BAR also specializes in beverages - offering a wide selection of drinks from the house's own signature cocktails, wine, to premium whiskey brands. We ensure the quality of our homemade beverages by using only the freshest ingredients. Our bar encompasses three main areas: 1. The main House Pub 2. The first-floor Garden Room where you can enjoy the garden view and gentle breeze, and 3. The Living Room at the second-floor mezzanine, a place to sit back and relax while having a good glass of cocktail or whiskey.

If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Ubud, The Sayan House is one of the must visit places! They serve excellent asian fusion dishes! I clearly remember the mouth watering foie gras nigiri that i had for starters! The place is peaceful and uniquely decorated at the same time :) it also seems like a great venue for private events. I would definitely come back the next time i'm in Ubud!

Good food with an excellent view. Having gone for lunch, I can only imagine how beautiful the place must be at night. Being a vegetarian, i enjoyed their Spaghetti Sayanaise and crispy tofu & vegetable quinoa salad. If I wasnt so full after my meal I probably would have ordered another salad. Would definetly visit The Sayan House again and highly recomennd it.

We just came back from this restaurant after local word-of-mouth, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The service is fantastic, with about every staff member greeting you on the way in. The food is unforgettable - the suckling pig sushi and homemade chocolate cake w/ coconut gelato is out of this world and on par with what we are used to fine dining in Sydney. They were incredibly accommodating with my dietary requirements, with one of the chefs coming to our table to explain the alterations he made as I couldn't have onion or garlic. Most restaurants turn their nose up at this so it is wonderful to have your exclusions treated with respect. This is all without mentioning the tasteful decor and stunning view into the valley. You'll also leave without burning a massive hole in your wallet; we spent $116AUD for 2 pax incl. 3 courses, drinks, dessert and coffee. We will be back

The fograis Sushi is amazing! Another must tryis the wagyu rendang pasta ... oh so yummy ! A nice place for a romantic dinner for two... the chocolate brownie we had for dessert was a little heavy but the coconut sorbet that came with it was positively delicious.

Most of the guest are coming from Four seasons hotel as it is 5 mins by car.
I did indeed like the concept of the restaurant.
However my dish was really basic without any specific taste.

Dear Lukas K,

First of all our apologies for our response. We are happy to receive feedback from our guest, especially structured ones. It helps us to improve the service, food and beverage quality. Would you be so kind to share us by email (info@thesayanhouse.com) which of the dish you had?

Also, we do get a lot of guests from the Four Seasons, but don't forget the ones from Amandari, Ritz Carlton, Komaneka, Bisma Eight and our direct neighbors. But thank you for mentioning it.

Last but not least, we do hope to welcome you some day at The Sayan House again so we could give you the best experience possible. Have a great day Mr. Lukas K!
