1. The bed and mattress in this type of room is sub standard and uncomfortable, hard, springs can be felt and it is difficult to sleep in comfort. Very BAD beds in twin room.
2. Noise from the street and bar is loud. Playing loud music till late can be heard in front rooms.
3. Needing a TV in front room with movies and some English channels please or a dvd player?
4. Need a kettle and tea and coffee facilities in all the rooms- this is ALWAYS supplied in other hotels?!!
Its basic. Standard. And you are not supplying this?
5. The breakfast is very tasty and nice and the staff are very lovely. Fresh juice is a bonus. Prompt service.
6. Outdoor furniture is damaged and old and termite ridden in some rooms.
7. Superior rooms are dark and there is a strong smell of damp!!
8. The fittings in the superior twins are old and falling apart, don’t work and are sub standard.
9. The hotel info folder is so old and faded and used it is falling apart and this is NOT a good look.
10. There is not enough tourist info, reading material like local magazines and books in the lobby
11. Spa prices are too high compared to those on the street.
12. There should be service for drink to pool area.
13. The landscaping is magnificent and it’s a shame to let it down with the poor room standard.
14 in house movies and cnn or English language tv would be a handy thing to have
15 happy hours or spa promotional offers should be available.
16 theres no safe box facilities and security is poor

It appears that nothing is being done to maintain or upgrade the facilities and the superior front rooms
Are not worth the 80,000 Rp a night rate they charge AT ALL. The superior front rooms are sub standard.
A rate of 120,000Rp in the deluxe rooms is also not worth it for no kettle, tea and coffee and no English channels.

Room Tip: don't choose superior twin its bad

A spirit of the moment stopover for the night in Ubud found us here.
It all started magically we walked in off the street and they booked us in with cash and no credit card.
Walking to our room the grounds are amazing two beautiful pools, classic rice paddy’s backing onto the hotel.
The was only one room available….. the entry to room grand double carved doors with a classic king bed with Victorian style bed surround bed frame.
Unfortunately, that was as good as it got for us.
The king size bed turned into two king singles pushed together, one of my personal hates. The room windows had no fly screens but the bed was wrapped in a Victorian style mosquito net that fully engulfed the bed.
The room had a 2 beside tables and a recessed study and a lockable small wardrobe. The large bathroom was in bad need of a refit. With a cold-water shower … for pool maybe??? a bath that had a removable shower attachment and a hose. The roof was coming down and signs of rising damp through the whole bathroom.
There was a noisy split system aircon mounted in the bedroom.
A light on either side bed table and a power point on the wall.
No other fittings or furniture...oh two bottles of warm water on the small study.
The damp odor throughout the room was unbelievable possibly the worst I've ever experienced in my life. I was frightened to go to sleep for breathing in the invisible spores that filled our minds with fear of sickness and we ended up opening up both windows and the main door and turning aircon off. Glad we were only staying for the single night.
Morning we were greeted to the magic sunrise of Ubud.
The breakfast was above average this price range.
Fresh pressed fruit juice and a fair selection of western and Asian foods from the usual steam trays.
We enjoyed the morning around pool and walking the gardens and the short walk down to the monkey forest.
Check out was easy with no issues.

I writing this review please take note we stayed on night in the most basic of rooms (the only one available) possibly there are refurbished rooms in the higher priced ranged that were not available to us.

In the small dealings, we had with them the Staff were polite and attentive.
Oh I nearly forgot the lovely and very chat bird that greats you with some very clear speech when you arrive.

Room Tip: check rooms for damp

Once again we were made very welcome here. We had a room down the back so it was a peaceful haven. The pool was never crowded and either was the breakfast room. The fresh mixed juice was a great way to start the day with plenty to choose for breakfast and I loved the banana pancakes. I loved the fact that you are right in town but feel like you are in the country.

Very large property accessed down a driveway off Monkey Forest Road. Two pools - one in the front near the lobby and a larger one in the back near the restaurant. Both overlook rice fields. Fun hanging in the pool watching and listening to the duck parade across the field. (Quack! Quack! - Company quick march, left, right, left, right).

The bigger pool is infinity style and an alternative if the other is busy.

Our room was #303, up stairs and overlooking gardens and pool. Decent size, large bathroom and a terrace with one lounger, 2-seater, coffee table and clothes rack for wet cossies and towels. Terrace has blinds that can be rolled down if the weather gets a bit nasty.

Room had a big 4-poster bed with mozzie net, mini fridge with drinks to purchase, flat screen TV, 2 chairs (uncomfortable), luggage rack, small dresser and wardrobe. They provide two complimentary bottles of water each day.

Wi-fi was available in room and around the pool restaurant area. Strong signal, but very unreliable. Real slow at its best.

Bathroom sink had low water pressure, but shower wasn't too bad.

Breakfast is served at the restaurant next to the larger pool. The first morning we were there, we chose off a menu, but the following mornings of our stay it was a serve-yourself buffet.

Biggest negative we found with this hotel: ridiculously too loud music from the bar in the front. Each time we walked by, there were few customers. Doesn't that tell them something? They crank up the volume after 9pm. Do not stay here if you want a good night's sleep.

Room Tip: Quietest rooms would be at the back of property

This is probably my favorite hotel in Indonesia. The rooms are big, nice and clean. There are two nice pools (one overlooking the rice field). Breakfast is a buffet and it was always delicious and filling. Staff was up to par. What isn't there to love? Would definitely go back!
