the kids love it. Be sure not to have food, drinks, glasses or hats on you at all. They are animals and unpredictable. I wouldnt buy the bananas!

We absolutely loved the monkey forest. I have been to couple over the years and this one was the best by far.

Even though it was raining there was still lots of monkeys around and you can walk right next to them and watch them play.
Don’t get too close with your hands in your pockets, the cheeky monkeys will think you have food!
A must while in Ubud. :)

There are also some nice places to eat nearby (5min drive), when you are finished.

When in Bali, this is something everyone should see. A beautiful forest with a lot of different tree species and many stone carved statues. Entrance fee was 50’ for adults. Maybe a little high, but still a fair price for a very good experience. The monkeys are used to people, but most people are not used to the monkeys. It’s safe as long as you keep your belongings safe and hidden. Don’t bring food nor water bottles. Spent about an hour walking in the park.
