We decided to do the Bike tour and the White water rafting..

The Bike tour started at the top of the mountain and we got a quick safety check/guidelines..

Our tour guide was wonderful.. very informative and accomadating considering we took our 2 year old with us.. they provided the seat and helmet for her.. the tour itself was well set out except for not far from the start the road goes to rock which is extremely uncomfortable..
Once you get over the awful rock road, you just breeze through little villages, and enjoy the scenery..

The white water rafting.. maybe a few short of a million steps to get down to the river bank, the steps were muddy, some had hessian bags, some paver steps were unsteady and all the steps varied in size and height.. to be honest if I had of known
how many steps were to and from the river I would not have gone..
The white water rafting itself was good fun, our guide was good fun.. not overly physical work.. only small rapids but still a good activity..

This was a wonderful experience with a rather smooth ride guided by an expert rafter who made sure we had a happy and save 10 km ride. Thoroughly recommended and we did have excellent gear and life jackets. The 2 hour ride had a few rest stops, and one at a waterfall. Note - that to get to the raft launch site, there are many many steps down to the bottom of the beautiful gorge - and would you believe heaps to get back up at the other end. Therefore, this ride is only for the fit ones and would rule out young children or adults that do not do activities during the year. They would find it hard work getting down to the river and up again. The actual rafting is a dream however.

This was a fantastic experience! Not too rough and scary but fun enough to be enjoyable.
The guides are really funny.
Trek to the raft and back isn't suitable for those significantly unfit but you can take your time.

Graha Adventure White Water Rafting team were a great bunch, full of energy and good vibes. I had confidence in the staff and every effort is made to ensure you have a good time. Our whole family (hubby + 4 kids) had a blast! It was a highlight of our holiday!

Take some cash as you have a stop mid way where you can purchase a drink or a snack from the locals. You can get a water proof bag to keep your cash dry. You can put other non essentials in a locker back at the base.

Be sure to take a change of clothes. A fresh towel is provided. The toilet and shower facilities are clean. Make sure you use the toilet at the base before you leave as there are no toilet facilities at the river.

The meal provided after the trip is delicious!

You don't have to tip the guides but it is very much appreciated! :)

Our guide was Sebak and he was fabulous!
Thank you Sebak, you were awesome!!!
