Pictures on the net are often deceiving and I was a bit skeptical when we booked the place. But okawati delivers everything it promises and More. We received a warm welcome even at 11 pm in the night. Morning we had simple but yummy breakfast delivered to our rooms. We had them in the balcony overlooking a lovely pool surrounded by so much greenery and birds chirping away. The rooms were clean and well Maintained. The place is right in middle of ubud but manages to Maintain serenity and quiet. It was really lovely to have okawati herself walking around giving a warm broad smile.... Will definitely visit again

not that big of a fan of Ubud, but you gotta go there. Okawati is really charming (deluxe room) and so central to everything. Its 5 minute walk to the dancing and one of the best places to eat. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, and great massages! Also recommend the tour operator near Okawati. They are off the main street on your way to Okawati, last ones as you walk past the clothing vendors and used book store. Nice couple. Anyhow thumbs up for okawati!

Room Tip: deluxe AC room

We stayed in a family bungalow which has 1 king and 1 queen bed. The room was clean. However, the shower was the problem. It was way to hot or way to cold. I liked the breakfast and free tea. The location is good since it is in the middle of ubud downtown. However, the hotel is located deep inside of the corner so you cannot park your car or load/unload your belongings easily.

Good quality. Quiet and charming place just in the centre of Ubud. Nice garden and pool. Very suitable for our family of 4. Breakfast at the veranda of our familyoom. Mrs.Okwati and her staff give this place a personal touch.

This small Balinese style hotel was great for the first 4 days of our Bali holiday: it is conveniently located close to many shops and restaurants, yet offers peace and quiet as it is a 2 minute walk down a sidestreet of Jl. Monkey Forest. Breakfast OK, pool OK, garden around the pool excellent. We had two double rooms on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the garden/pool. The pool was mostly empty during our stay.
