Simply the best. Very simple place with a great relaxed atmosphere. Vegan and vegetarian options are unbelievably tasty. Various soups everyday and everything for a more than reasonable price.

the highlight of our meal was a pumpkin soup - undersalted but a beautiful creamy and rich texture. the rest was a little too healthy for me TBH. wife had the nasi goreng which was serviceable and clean tasting. I had the gado-gado which was a collection of boiled veggies with some peanut sauce that literally tasted like liquid peanut butter. also, the place is shoes off and open-air - clean floors and open seating which was, idk, somehow calming. can see the appeal to crunchy backpacker types.

I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but I do enjoy good, clean, healthy food for the majority of my meals. The selection was vast and interesting. I had the Gado-Gado and would order it again. Of course the staff is friendly and helpful.

We visited Sopa (at Jl. Sugriwa) for breakfast based on recommendations we found on Facebook promoting it as a family run vegetarian/vegan warung. The location of the busy main tourist streets together with local shops and other warungs adds to a relaxed and more quit experience. The fit out is inviting and the seating offers a nice view of local daily life and activities. Now as for the food which is what we came for, we ordered the Sopa set and the Tortilla with vegetables set. Food was served quickly by the friendly staff, but their was a huge difference in taste. The Sopa set completely lacked taste and spice and the food should have warmer, where the Tortilla was normally seasoned. Despite the friendly host, the food was not able to convince me, certainly in view of the many alternatives available in area. Too bad.

I had a dahlsoup and a lemon/tamarinde juice. Fortunately they served some extra salt and pepper on the side, because the soup lacked a bit of taste for me. The juice was great though!
