Certainly not cheap but excellent. We chose to go there because of the great reviews. Be advised and book a table online. Especially the two seaters are in high demand.

They have a shared dinner concept. So you choose anywhere between 3-6 dishes (for two persons) and share them.

We started with the bubbles from Australia which was so nice we ordered the rest of the bottle.

Tip: if you don't want your food to come quickly just wait a while before you order. Like everywhere in Asia you get your food as fast as possible as soon as you order. For these prices you want to take a minute longer and enjoy the beautiful gardens and the nicely build restaurant.

We ordered a total of 6 dishes including the rice. That was one too many. They were all delicious, where the porkloin and the barramundi with ginger and soy were our favorites. The portions are small but extremely tasteful. So this is quality above quantity. We had to shift our minds a little bit after two weeks of (also amazing) meals at small warungs.

Ok, now listen carefully. Order dessert! They have an amazing black sticky rice pudding! If you leave without it you are making a big mistake. The advised coffee cocktail to go with it you may skip.

I went here with my wife and daughters (16 &13). The setting is amazing with a long candlelit walk alongside rice fields with the palm trees lit on be far side of he field and the sounds of frogs.
The food was truly delicious. Tapas style (we had six dishes and two portions of rice between 4). We had beef, bbq chicken, crispy pork, barramundi, pumpkin curry and stir fry beans with plain rice and “very special” rice with prawns and bacon. It was our best meal in Bali, plus it was reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly.

We were staying near this restaurant and had seen the signpost. Looked it up on trip advisor . Great reviews. So we booked mainly because was walking distance.
So so glad we did. Setting and scenery amazing. Service also amazing. But the food was the star. Not one fault. Is tapas style. We tried 8 different tastes. And they were all fabulous. Go at dusk as the lighting is fabulous. But take insect repellant.

We heard about his restaurant by chance, although we had passed the sign on the road a few times. It is about 200 metres from the Sankara Resort. It is set down a narrow dirt road, then a winding path along the side of a rice field. It is popular and you can book online. We went early to enjoy the sunset over the fields. They have a half decent wine list, although wine in Bali is expensive. The food was amazing. We ordered 4 dishes which was a perfect amount for 2 people to share. All of the dishes were delicious, they come out at different times, tapas style. This was our most expensive (but probably the best) meal in Bali at about $110 AUD but over half of that was a bottle of wine. A great experience.
