Stayed at Villa Blessings for 5 days having spent 10 days in Sanur. It is situated well outside Ubud in open countryside with fantastic open views across rice field all around. The Villa is approached via a footpath from the road about 50 metres long which has a couple of inclines which may not suit the less able. Despite location Taxis are readily available at cheap rate. During our stay the direct route road was closed to Ubud and this gave us some interesting taxi journeys around the countryside as drivers tried to find the Villa!
The Villa is fairly new and has a layout that maximises the views and quality of fittings, linen etc couldn't be faulted. Lying next to the infinity pool overlooking the fields who could fail to relax?
Only point of note is that there is a little noise from the road during the day but you soon become accustomed to that and by early evening it disappears so no real issues.
Wayan is the Villa Manager and is absolutely brilliant. He looks after the Villa in all respects and can assist with anything you need, taxi, scooter, trips etc etc. Used him to cook breakfast for us each morning usually banana pancakes, fresh fruit and tea/coffe. He gets the ingredients from the early morning market on his way to the Villa so always fresh, cost for everything over the 5 days was minimal so well worth it.
As the Villa is in the countryside, which is its charm, there are no real facilities close by, there is however a Thai Restaurant within walking distance just along the road which I recommend you don't miss!
Overall the Villa is a little bit of paradise for ultimate relaxation and I would heartily recommend it to you.
