We staid in Stella Villa in Sanur, Bali 3 weeks.
When we arrived at the airport Daphne, a friend of the owner Charlotte who takes care of the villa when the owner is not there, was there to greed us with flowers necklaces and a taxi was waiting for us to go to the villa.
When we arrived at the villa there were flowers everywhere to make us feel welcomed .
Daphne took her time to give us a lot of advises. She was very helpful. Next day she came to check if everything was OK.
Nothing was missing in the villa, we had more than everything we needed, even soap, shower gel, shampoo, soap for the washer and Downy, liquid detergent for the dishes, a brand new sponge. There was also enough big bottles of purified drinking water for our stay. The villa was very clean. The swimming pool was a must: the automatic system cleaning kept the swimming pool with crystal clear water.
The maid did a very good job and the maintenance pool guy too.
The location is perfect: near the beach, near the center, very close to the outside market and supermarkets. A lot of inexpensive very good restaurants. We used to take away. About the laundry we used the service almost in the front of the villa, so I did not need to iron our clothes. It was very cheap and for the rest of the clothes which did not to be ironed I used the washer.
Every morning I was enjoying the smell of the flowers around the swimming pool.
We had a wonderful time and we were able to relax in a quiet environment even of the proximity of the center. It was like a beautiful and quiet oasis in the middle of Sanur.
Stayed 8 nights late October 2016.
Small towels, only changed once in 8 nights. Extremely hard and uncomfortable beds. The villa had power issues and the switch board kept being blown. Couldn't use a hair dryer or anything else. There was a constant rattle in the ceiling when water was running. Plants in the garden looks unattended and were dying. Minimal utensils and crockery. Most of it plastic. Dirty walls and sinks upon arrival.
Villa Manager came and opened the doors to the villa whilst we weren't there and made the villa very hot and full of mosquitoes.
Owner of villa wrote nasty review about us on AirBNB which said that we left the place dirty. Which were totally false accusations. Avoid at all costs. These people really don't know how to manage this place efficiently.
Much better value and service can be found elsewhere.
Regular travellers to Bali stayed in the villa (third visit to Bali in 2016) and this was the worst villa stay we had experienced.
Will not return.
