Oh my God! Rats?? You really saw this? This is incredible! You are on an island in a third world country and you saw a rat near the side of the street? That’s never happened before! No one has seen a rat in Bali in almost 100 years! They are the stuff of legends. And you saw one that was the size of a lapdog?! This is really big news. This could possibly be the biggest discovery since Newton discovered gravity! What are you doing only saying this on tripadvisor? You have to let the big media outlets know! National Geographic, Discovery Chanel, CNN, everyone!! I can already see the headlines ‘BREAKING NEWS : RATS FOUND IN BALI THE SIZE OF LAPDOGS’! You could be the next Charles Darwin. Heheh… LOL

As absurd as your review sounds I’ll dignify you with a response, I’m not really busy at the moment. There are a few things that I think need to be said.
1. If you did see any rodents in our establishment why didn’t you inform the staff or myself about this issue? We would have appreciated you informing us about this as we take this matter very seriously. The mice or ‘rats’ as you called them, are a common occurrence everywhere in Bali and tend to come into places to eat the Balinese daily offerings. However we do everything in our power to keep them out of our restaurant.
2. ‘There are rats the size of lapdogs’.. seriously? I mean don’t get me wrong if you are scared of something it can look bigger in your head. My wife once started screaming in the house saying she saw a rat that was as big as our cat, but when I had a look turns out it was just a tiny mouse. She didn’t go as far as saying it was as big as a lapdog but you get my point right? Otherwise have you had your eyes checked recently? It could have been a squirrel, there are a few of those around here.
3. Let’s say you did see this thing. A rodent of this size, in plain sight, in broad daylight, in a restaurant full of people, you were the ONLY person that saw this??? That’s pretty incredible.
4. There’s something I find strange about your behavior. IF I saw a creature like the one you described, not only would I exit the restaurant immediately, I would leave town and never come back. You however, after what you ‘saw’ not only did you stay in the area, you chose to come back to the exact same spot?! To a restaurant that shares a wall with us and you weren’t suspicious at all?? Come on…
Yeah I read your review on our neighboring restaurant, how you absolutely raved about them and how you FURTHER ridiculed us on how you ‘saw’ this freak of nature which more and more is starting to sound like a fictional creature.
Your logic is not sound. I feel like there is something else going on here.
