This is our 4th stay over 4 years at Laghawa and we will be back. The rooms are very simple, but they are clean & comfortable. If you want wonderful friendly staff who will do anything to help you, the feel of being in a traditional Balinese village, stunning gardens & pool plus direct access to the beach and you're on a budget then it's perfect.

If grey sheets, cracked tiles in the bathroom & a bit of paint coming off the walls worry you then don't stay here. The rooms are far from fancy, occasionally smell a bit musty & could do with a renovation, but they are still good for the price you pay. Each room is fairly spacious, and has a little balcony out front which is handy. WiFi reception is pretty good throughout the rooms, restaurants & grounds.

The friendly staff, the easy location with direct beach access, the gardens and the pool make this place. It truly is a tranquil oasis away from the hustle & bustle of the main road but only a short stroll to everything.

As you walk out the gardens you hit the beach and a bicycle path. There is an area reserved with beach beds & restaurants right out front. No traffic to deal with or roads to cross. Its really close to Hardy's if you want to stock up on cheap snacks & drinks. Otherwise there are plenty of cheap or fancy food options around the main road.

We love it here - you are guaranteed to relax in the surrounds. We will definitely back again next time we're in Sanur and look forward to being welcomed again by the wonderful staff.

The location of Laghawa was great, right in the middle of Sanur! The swimming pool was lovely and they have direct access to the beach with lovely sun loungers. The rooms were very, very basic but we did go for the cheaper option so perhaps the other bungalows are nicer. The shower was good and room had plenty of storage! Breakfast was a big let down though so I would leave it out the next time! The girl who cleaned our room was really lovely though and always went out of her say hello.

A quiet old hotel with expansive gardens, big pool, helpful staff, close to Hardy's @ the beach with a resto @ beach lounges.

Standard room with tv, deluxe has a bar fridge also.

Western breakfast was satisfying with choice of Continental or Indonesian also. Banana pancakes incl.

$50/nt good value for location.
Rooms could be off-putting if you want bright n shiny.

Very disappointing... 2 hour wait for a pizza that never came, mojito had peppermint flavour poured into it. Bad management. Long Island Tea full of coke. Scary masked people dancing. Tried charging for items not consumed. Meals not received.
