Found the staff very unfriendly, the towels and bed linen were very poor quality, and the air conditioning didn't work. We had staff knocking on the door at 8.30am wanting to make up our room, and they asked us to settle our bill 24 hours before we were due to check out, very strange!

location of this resort is good. Have private beach and swimming pool. Staffs are good and cooperative. But, very old, rooms walls are damp, many mosquitoes, Horrible dirty towels. No white towels. Water logged in the bath room. Toilet flush does not work properly. Bath tub was broken, hand wash sink was dirty and broken.Overall not good for money.

If you want modern western hotel then Besakih may not be for you but if you want real Bali then it’s perfect.

We had villa behind doors
Friends had suites and standard rooms, they were all comfortable.

Gardens are lovely. Nice beach area.

Good food with flavour. Cold beers.

The pools are great the infinity pool with bar on the beach is a stand out feature. The number of people walking by stopping to take photos said a lot.

Great location .. lots of spas, warungs, bars and restaurants to choose from.

Last but not least were the beautiful staff and a heartfelt thank you to management and staff for allowing us to hold our wedding there.. even more so when short notice (less than 2 weeks) when other venue became difficult.

The Besakih turned out to be a more than perfect venue.

We will be back and so will our wedding guests some who had not been to Bali but have fallen in love.

Thank You xox

We had issues with this hotel from the get go. We had a booking for family room - 2 adults 2 kids. When we arrived we were told we had to pay for breakfast for one of my children. The female manager/boss insisted that we pay as apparently the room was for 3 adults & 1 child but still, no breakfast included for the child. I just paid.. no issue. However when we arrived at the room we found a twin room. An extra bed had been squeezed in and all extra furniture put onto the balcony leaving no space on the balcony. But we still had only 3 single beds.... for 4 people. I hate to complain in hotels & never do. But went to reception and explained that we can't fit 4 people in 3 single beds. Basically we were told to email booking. Com and that they did not care. Never have I felt like a hotel really did not care at all. I wanted to check out immediately but at $130 a night for 2 nights it was too much money to waste. From then on we had:
-bed bugs in the morning.. bites all over (see pics)
-air con completely ineffective on first night (room was so damp)
-second night it beeped all night so we had to switch it off
-breakfast staff disinterested .. average breakfast
-my first hot cocktail! I had to ask for ice to try & make it cold
-broken cupboard in room that had an internal night .. I had to try and close it with a rubber band to block the light at night
-dirty great sheets, mouly/leaky bathroom
- curtains very thin & not block out
-pool bar closes at 7 but we couldn't get a drink at 630 because they had taken the till away

Best thing about this hotel was checking out. I've been to Bali 7 times and have stated in far cleaner & better places for $30 night.
I would not be surprised if this place closed down next week like many others on the sanur beachfront.
Bali is beautiful - you don't have to stay here!!

Lovely pool right on the beach make location the best attraction. Rooms are tired but spacious, linen could do with updating but cleaning staff do a very good job.
Breakfast is ok, no water oddly but orange juice is good.
Staff in general very pleasant especially the younger ones.

Room Tip: Good location
