V r here in bali for 8 days ..been to ayodya for first 3 days n thn ubud n thn tabanan …but instead of going tabanan v came back here…best property n safe from lizards n geckos .. m having phobia of reptiles ..here u can sleep peacefully without any fear..restaurants r good too..staff s frndly n beach is very clean…

Booked a 16 day stay through the Luxury Escapes All-inclusive deal. We had the best experience, from the minute we got out of the taxi to check in service at best, the staff are attentive , professional and genuine I truly appreciated all of their services.
The entrance of the Ayodya is spectacular !!!! Actually the all resort from reception hall to the grounds are just amazing.
We want to specially mention Sugiani and Gusti Samuel who made our stay memorable.
All restaurants are very good food we couldn't fault the food and service and the staff are very friendly.
The breakfast restaurant "Waterfall" has the most amazing view, with good food delicious waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Good and plenty of choice for buffet breakfast.
We highly recommend this property you will enjoy a relaxing vacation.
Excellent value for money and we will be back.
Thank you to the entire Ayodya team for their excellence service, greatly appreciated.

Huge resort. In fact too big. Grounds magnificent, rooms nice, Waterfall Restaurant nice for breakfast. Staff lovely. 2nd day they knew what we wanted. Only negative was size. Cut lunch to get from room to restaurant. Lobby way to big but nice.

Room tip: Pool very hot. Room service meals were great.

The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed using the pools. Also very close to the beach and they have some lounge chairs and day beds overlooking the ocean. It was also great to borrow the bikes and go up and down the sidewalk along the beach. We plan to come back to this hotel.

The resort is 5 stars in every way. From the room to the breakfast. The most impressive part for me was the customer service. Bina who runs the customer service of the Palace area of the resort is brilliant. It was an absolute pleasure staying here!

I have stayed in various 5-star resorts in Nusa Dua, including Ayana, Jimbaran, Laguna, Hilton, Grand Hyatt, Conrad, and others.

Ayodya is the worst 5-star resort in Bali. Understaffed and very poor service. First, the telephones in tens of rooms do not work. They forced us to use Whatsapp (WA). But the operator of that WA is not responsive. Literrally no one care what you write in that WA number. I had to complain directly in front office, but he also acknowledge about the poor quality service from WA operator.

Then the elevator stop working many time. Guests complain about it, then the hotel got it fixed, but it stop working again the next day. The problem is, their rooms are on the 5th floor and their only access is that one elevator or the stairs. So imagine if after a long relaxing day by the pool, you have to climb 5 stories by using the stairs.

During breakfast everything is quite chaotic. No one was available to greet the guests or register them at the restaurant entrance, because every staff is already busy handling dirty dishes and cutleries. Basically anyone can just come in and pretend to be a hotel guest and have free breakfast. There were also several situation when you want to request the staff for something, like tissue or knives, they simply ignore you and proceed with their chores. There are around 700 guests in the hotel, everyone is having breakfast at the same restaurant, but only less than 10 staff is available to handle everything. What a mess!

The food at breakfast, also does not have 5-star quality. The sausages and meat balls are just cheap quality. 99% is flour and just 1% meat. Some of the local dishes are just bland, like the Balinese fried rice.

The food quality at dinner is even worse for Indonesian cousine. The Indian cousine is fantastic. But the food served at dinner at Waterfall restaurant is just bland. Lack of seasoning. Ayam Taliwang is worse than the street food quality. Pork ribs also taste worse than the ones served in ordinary restaurants outside the hotel. Surprisingly, it's a recommended menu. Did the hotel hired a street food chef?

The chef is also handling food orders in the wrong way! We arrived first and ordered first for dinner at the restaurant. Waited for 1 hour, but the food is not ready yet. Another guest arrived 30 minutes after us, ordered exactly the same menu, and they got served first. Other guests are also complaining about the waiting time. I've never encountered a restaurant in a 5-star hotel deliver food in 1 hour and easily get skipped by other guests. Other 5-star hotels can serve it in 30-40 minutes max. This is zero-star service!

The staffs near the pool also does not care if you exist or not. The procedure is to give them your pool card in order to get towels for swimming. Unfortunately, the staff handling it, is often not available. So we get confused on whether we can just serve ourselves or not. At that time, there are 3 other staffs within 1 meter distance, who practically ignored me. No one was willing to offer assisstance, as if they don't care if I exist or not. They just mind their own business. This is zero-star service!

In short, I recommend you go to other 5-star resorts if you really want to experience 5-star quality services.

However, we would like to address a few discrepancies in your review for the benefit of the wider audience researching our resort for an authentic and memorable holiday experience in Bali.

Ayodya Resort Bali takes pride in offering authentic and traditional Balinese Architecture, based on the theme of Ramayana and inspired by the water palace. It is indeed one of its kind where traditional Balinese architecture has been preserved. Despite the challenges posed by Covid-19 and the pandemic, we have consistently invested in upgrading our resort and facilities rather than cutting costs. We remain committed to preserving the tranquility and authentic Balinese experience at the resort.

Our resort rooms are spread over 5 floors, which can be accessed by ten different elevators in both wings, combined. The rooms are allocated as per the guest's preference, and being in a tropical climate, scheduled preventive maintenance of the elevators is conducted by the professional team for the safety of all our guests and colleagues.

Regarding breakfast and dining experience, we offer a wide selection and choice with local flavors and high-quality fresh ingredients including Balinese, Indonesian, Indian, and international dishes, juices, fresh tropical fruits, flavored yogurts, cereals, pastries, soups, an egg station, cured and cooked meats, cheese, and more. The hot dishes menu is changed cyclically to ensure our guests can enjoy local flavors. The Food and Beverage service team is always present on the floor to ensure that our guests are served without intruding into their personal space for an enjoyable holiday. There is a full brigade of talented chefs and service team to ensure all our guests are served in time and they savor the cuisine and dining experience while enjoying their holiday in Bali.

We offer a choice of 5 different venues and cuisines for dinner at the resort – Ayodya Beach Club & Grill for a sea-side dining experience, Genji – Teppanyaki & authentic Japanese Cuisine, Waterfall – Balinese & Indonesian Cuisine, Java Hut – Sandwiches and light meals, Surfer’s Corner – International pool-side food, and Ganesha ek Sanskriti - Authentic Indian Cuisine. Additionally, 24-hour In-Room Dining is available with a mix and choice of an international menu. In case of any dietary and special requirements, our beverage team is more than happy to prepare special food for our guests. Moreover, guests can enjoy the Indonesian Barbeque for Dinner and live cultural performances at Balinese Theatre every Wednesday and Saturday, subject to weather conditions.

Our people are our true asset, who have been with us since opening, despite all the highs and lows - we are extremely proud of them for delivering authentic Balinese hospitality consistently in the past and are committed to delivering in the future too. We will continue to invest in the right talent pipeline and employment opportunities within the local community for the young and talented future leaders.
