The hotel is in a reasonably good location in the middle of Kuta/Legian, near Legian street (3 mins walk), however its a bit further to the beach (15 mins). Legian street has tons of bars, restaurants, shops etc which is good. There is a shuttle bus to the beach but not very frequent (every hour or so). The hotel itself is ok, but the rooms could do with being refurbished, especially the bathrooms which are not very good quality. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room which I think should be expected these days in 3 star hotels, also no iron or ironing board. Breakfast was ok, but a bit basic and not a great selection of food. The swimming pool is quite small, and not enough sunbeds, so if you want a sunbed you’d have to get in pretty early in the morning, towels are provided which is good.
The hotel spa was really good value for money....about A$20 for a 2 hour massage, body scrub, steam, milk bath etc
P.S. Check out ’Heaven and Hell’ bar which is just around the corner from the hotel. The cocktails are really good and the cheapest we found in Bali.
P.S. If you need to change money, go to one of the Kodak shops (there is one just opposite the Adi Dharma Cottages) as they are legitimate money changers and wont try to rip you off. Other 'indepenant' money changers will offer you a better exchange rate but you have to check your money about 4 times as they are sneaky and will try to distract you and then short change you.

The Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the Kuta Beach and the
main tourist lane of Kuta (Legian street). You will find everything in the vicinity.
There are few very good resturants (Warangs) nearby. You must try those. Cheap and good.
The Hotel is quite popular with locals and seem to hold good reputation in Bali. So your Taxi driver would not need directions to reach the hotel.

There are many Tour operators located right on the lane leading to the hotel.
Always negotiate the rates quoted by them. I booked a Talang Waja Rafting trip
for two of us and got a pretty good deal as I tried different shops and Bargained.

The hotel has a big open lobby area. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished.
I had booked a superior room with a double bed, but they gave me two single beds
pushed together. On complaining, they promised to shift us to another room the next day
as the hotel was fully booked. Next day when we returned from our day tour, we were
pleasantly surprised to see our new room. They had upgraded us to a deluxe room. The deluxe room had a very
comfy canopy bed, few extra furnitures and better bathroom. However, a common problem in both
the rooms was the aged bathroom doors with latches almost broken.
The buffet breakfast menu changes on a daily basis. Though not very enticing but yet appetizing.

The selection normally would be Fried rice, Noodles,
Bacons, Crossaints, Bread, Pan Cakes, Omlettes made to order, Two types of juices, COffe/Tea, 3-4 Fruits.
The staff was attentive and willing to listen and help. There is a Spa, Swimming pool, Pool table, Internet in the lobby(paid).

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is definitely value for money.

Caution : Avoid Money exchange shops in the alleys (Or shops running other businesses) and do not accept small denominations (20 K or less) as there are fairly high chances of getting confused and cheated.
I did the mistake and am still wondering what hand trick he did? But luckily, I realised fast enough and went back and firmly asked him to return the Dollars, which he finally
did after some relunctance.
There is a Authorized Money Exchanger 5 mins walk on the Legion street.

I (Mum) stayed here with my 3 teenage children - we had 2 rooms that were not adjoining. Despite this, it was a fantastic holiday. My kids felt safe and I felt very safe here, security was great, cleaning staff were honest and friendly. Plenty of staff all of whom were extremely helpful and very friendly. The hotel is located up a laneway which makes it very peaceful considering it is off Poppies Lane. My kids ventured by themselves to get massages up the road, great tailors and boot maker up the road. Pool and gardens were lovely. Breakky and snacks were great. Poolside snacks well priced. Staff were very attentive. Internet was fine as was the pool table free of charge. We had our laundry done up the road as it was cheaper. It has a shuttle that travels a number of times a day. Fair way to walk to the beach, but we caught the shuttle bus and walked back or caught a taxi. Fantastically located. Restaurants, shopping just down the laneway. We hired a DVD player and had a quick view of the 70 (!!) DVD's we purchased and took back the small number (4) that were dodgy. We all loved our holiday. Bathrooms got a bit wet, but otherwise ok considering the price. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

We spent two nights in Kuta. Not expecting much from th eplace, but wanted to experience it anyways. Adi Dharma was a great place to do so. It is located on the main street JL Legian, but just slightly on the back yard so that you don't need to worry about the noise and loud people and traffic. The restaurant is nice as well as is the breakfast and the staff in general. Pool area is clean and the toilets as well.

The rooms are a bit worn-out. Quite dirty and crappy, to be honest. But with air condition and sort of comfy bed and wam shower, we were satisfied. I'd however be a bit concern about the safety as anybody can access basically your room as it is free area for everyone. You better leave all your valueable ones to the reception.

Hi, This is Raj from India. I travelled to Bali-indonesia for one week. We did the booking from our Travel Agent. They advise us to stay in Hotel Adhi dharma, kuta.

The Hotel was very nice, lively & the people statying over there & the staff are very nice. The service of the hotel is very excellent. We saw the photos of hotel on net, but the review of people were not good (It stated as it is not same as shown in the picture), but in our case it was totally different. The rooms were same as it has shown in the pictures. The rooms, bathroom was very good & clean. The swimming pool was also clean & clear & very lively.

The hotel is situated in very good location. All the restaurant, shops (for shopping) are very near by the hotels.

The only thing which not upto our expectation was the Massage. We opted 3 hours massage treatment, but that was not good enough. In this three hours they did the proper massage only for half an hour and remaining time they wasted putting cream, scrub. Lot of time was wasted on that. So I can advise that don't try massage in the hotel.
After that we also did the massage outside & it is very cheap and very good compare to hotel.
