“Average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2012

My fiancee and I stayed here for 5 nights and through weighing up the pros and cons, it came up as just average.

Pros:
* Rooftop pool - well away from the busy Kuta streets below. You can also have dinner up there which was nice to eat under the stars.
* Friendly daytime staff - greeting you with hello and opening doors for you.
* Tasty breakfast - could use a little more fruit variation but overall very tasty!

Cons:
* Spa staff were lazy and seemed bored. I had a body scrub in which the lady came in, slapped some goo on me (and I literally mean slap, there was no even coverage or massage involved) and then left for 30 minutes for which she told me was to "let it dry", upon coming back into the room she then told me to shower and that was the end of the so called "body scrub".
* My fiancee and I both became ill with Bali Belly and required more water (you get given 2 TINY bottles of water each day and also two large bottles in the mini bar, of which we had drunk all of) so we called the reception asking them to please deliver some more but the person on the other end didn't speak a word of English. I ended up having to walk down the 4 flights of stairs at 3am, horribly ill to explain that we urgently needed water, to which the man on the reception desk still couldn't understand.
* Hallways are echoey and you can hear other drunk guests stumbling to their rooms in the early hours of the morning.

All in all - generally OK but I would definitely not recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Buy lots of bottles of water just to keep in your room. The water that is supplied daily is ridiculo...

It was our first trip to Bali and we stayed there for 4 nites. Long story short, let's kick off with the good stuff. Good value for money, great sunset view from the roof top bar, very friendly & helpful staff, decent breakfast, good location - about 10mins drive from the airport & near to all entertainment outlets, convenient stores, you name it. The drawbacks - slow internet connection in the room (especially on the 2nd floor and above), old furniture, you need to walk about 10mins to the shopping mall (imagine if you have to do this on a sunny burning afternoon). But overall, yah it's pretty cool.

Room Tip: I noticed the "acceptable" internet connection speed is on the lobby/first floor, anything...

Staff were all friendly. The room was small and had cockroach in our room. The pool was nice and I think it is the highlight of the hotel. The food is ok. We had massage and it was not too bad. Overall it is an average 3 star hotel considering the price we paid.

Room Tip: good for short stay for 1 or 2 nights. If you are after a longer holiday break, consider to find a r...

Stayed here for a 4 day girly getaway and the rooms were fantastic. We had a standard (no view, non smoking) room but since there was a slight problem with the air conditioning unit in our original room the staff gladly upgraded us to a room with a view at no cost. Unfortunately, the person in the room opposite to our new room kept smoking in the corridor and despite several complaints, staff weren't able to make him stop. Apparently though "smoking" and "non smoking" floors are advertised, there isn't such a distinction at the hotel. That aside- staff were attentive and really friendly, buffet breakfast was good and the band at the hotel's bar (Bellagio) were amazing. Overall great experience, marred slightly by the constant secondhand smoke

On the whole an ok hotel. Nothing to scream about.

The hotel is 10min from the airport. 10min walk to a secluded part of Kuta beach.
15min away from the Discovery Mall. A warning though, the beach is not very impressive.

We entered a nice spacious lobby illuminated by warm lighting. There were lots of sitting areas. We had a good impression of the hotel.

We were a group of 3 sharing a room. We were allocated Room 336 which had the view of 3 pots of plants hanging on a a grey wall. Not what we expected but I guess it doesn't matter if you don't intend to spend much time in the room.

One fault was the pillow was really too skinny, making sleep a little uncomfortable.

Breakfast is a simple affair. Not much variety. But we found their local fried rice & noodles tasty.

The in house spa is located below the rooftop pool & bar. We found the spa experience unsatisfying. The thin doors were noisy when the staff went in & out during the treatment. They were not useful in blocking out noises. We heard the slaps of flip flops against the flooring when people walked up & down the staircase to the rooftop as well as anyone talking at the staircase. The wooden flooring creaked whenever the staff walked around the treatment beds. It was simply distracting & unconducive for a relaxing spa experience.

There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport. Don't be fooled into taking a cab. Or be fooled by the Concierge like we almost were that the cab fare would be about Rp 50,000.
