I have stayed at the Ida the last three times that i have been to Bali and am looking forward to staying there again next month. The rooms are clean, any problems were attended to very quickly and with a smile. The masseuse' is my favourite person in the world and the rest of the staff are very pleasant. Very handy to the beach and shopping centre. Good big breakfast included and whilst there was not a lot on the menu what was there was cheap, tasty and filling. A lovely little place to stay - it is like a little peaceful cocoon in the middle of a bussling city. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend - which I have a number of times with never a bad word back.

Room tip: Budget Rooms are very close to pool and restaurant. Not noisy.

I've been to Bali 8 times in 23 years and I was recently there in mid August, I like to stay in a different place in Kuta when I go so I tried the Ida Hotel for the first time. I paid $60 AUS dollars for a standard room and when I got a little worried that I might get electrocuted with the dodgie connector I had and wanted a decent TV, I decided to "upgrade" to a superior room for an extra $15 AUS it was nice but spoilt by the hot/cold/boiling shower. The food is nothing great and service was basic, staff were friendly as the all are in Bali. I did send a postcard from the hotel on tuesday the 14th of August and my family and I still haven't seen it and it is now the 27th August, must be coming by camel... Honestly if you pay $75 AUS per night you can get much better accommodation, location, service and satisfaction elsewhere for your buck. Don't like to bag Bali but this one I could have passed on.

Room tip: If you get a REAL cheap deal only settle for a superior room

I had stayed at this hotel in the previous year & enjoyed it .In the intervening year i had read reviews in Tripadvisor which were not very favorable. Hence i was apprehensive when i wanted to visit the second time. But my fears were dispelled when i heard the reassuring familar voices of Ary ,the manager & her Asst. Kadek.I decided to take the risk by visiting again.
Instead, i found my fears unfonfed with things improving for the better under the stewardship of the new Mgt. of Ary.The food in the restaurant had improved as well as service & cleaniness. To top it all i got a better located independent cottage facing the swimming pool & Dining hall. The linen & towel was changed everyday, mineral water bottle kept along with mosie repellent.
The service was good apart from Ary,& Kadek by Desak, chandra,Madde etc.One felt ones needs were looked after promptly.
Above the central location with the dependable Mataharihari Dept. stores,Restaurants & the Airprt not very far. All this at Budget prices & helpful service.I will definately stay at this place if i visit again this winter!

Room tip: Request for a cottage facing swimming pool.

Have stayed here numerous times,it's very affordable, the staff are amazing here .Rooms are the original Bali look ,but they have recently built newer rooms if you are looking for the modern Bali look.Housekeeping is very thorough ,rooms are very clean, considering the age of the hotel.A great place for families to stay as it is a small complex.Great walking location to the beach and Kuta.....

Room tip: Upgrade to a superior bungalow at the rear and enjoy old Bali ....

I stayed at Ida Hotel for 16 days from 21st July. I loved my stay, I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and cleaned every day with new sheets and fresh towels and two bottles of water, the gardens and grounds beautiful. I also found the hotel quiet, but so central to everything in Kuta.

I loved my time at Ida and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Room tip: The rooms along from reception and resturant have indoor bathrooms, the ones at the back have outdoor bathrooms, which are very private.
