As others have said: dirty, staff had some level of contempt for clientele, our meals were not even delivered at the same time. I'd *finished* mine before my dining companion's meal even arrived. One of the meals was also tiny in the extreme.

As our last "stop" in Bali it left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth.

Pros: Good views by beach, musicians that play at your dinner table(its similar to a Indonesian version of Mariachi band) for tips

Cons: Food was not great, Seems very dirty in the kitchen due to our experience with the many cockroaches running around the area where you pick your seafood at the front of the restaurant, expensive for subpar service/food

We did NOT choose this restaurant since our tour guide/driver took us here. If you want to experience dinner by the beach, the other restaurants seemed better and had more customers. Do yourself a favor and skip this stop.

View was lovely. Food was average at best. We liked the grilled snapper. The lobster was okay. Expected better calamari than what we got. Price was good foe three people. The resturant picked us up and brought us back to the hotel.

It's strange that the cafes along the Jimbaran beach stretch offer such minimal differentiation ; stepping into Dewata was akin to entering others along the stretch. Still I was there on the recommendation of a local mate and was open to trying it out.
All seemed fine except for having the runs later in the evening which was a shame... High chance it was the vegetables that came complimentary. Also a pity the muggy weather meant we could not enjoy the sunset on this occasion. Spent about SGD180 for fresh lobster, a frozen red snapper, squid, some clams and drinks.

We enjoyed the view however the menu was quite limited and with overpriced food.
For a meal that over $100 I would expect some serious and well cooked seafood. However, the crab was really small and dry. Lobster was disappointing as well. And most of all, they were all pre-cooked and re-heated.
