We was passing by a couple of times and noticed the nice live music. Last night we decided to join for dinner. The service was excellent, free vodka shot for starter, and the food was very good. We had the King prawns and the mixed grill platter. The eving was passing fast and the live music was very enjoyable . All in all, it was a great experience.

The Bamboo Bar & Grill was just a couple of minutes' walk from the Bali Rani Hotel where we were staying and it got good reviews on Trip Advisor so we decided to try it for dinner one of the evenings while we were staying in Kuta. It is easy to see why the restaurant is so popular- it was busy every evening when we walked past and even seemed to do good business during the day. In the evening the restaurant offers live music and although I'm not usually a fan of loud music in restaurants as I have some problems hearing when there is background noise, we managed to secure a nice table as far away from the musicians as possible and enjoyed our dinner at the Bamboo Bar & Grill. We were not very adventurous in our ordering, simply sharing a yummy Caesar salad and a delicious pizza, all washed down with some ice-cold Bintang. The service was friendly and efficient and it is easy to see why the restaurant is so popular in this part of Kuta. It does have some stiff competition with a number of excellent restaurants nearby, but it is an ideal place if you want a quick American/Australian diner-type meal and listen to some live music before heading back to your hotel. We would most definitely include a visit to Bamboo Bar & Grill in a future stay in Kuta.

Excellent food at great prices. We've been here a couple of times now and although I had fish both times, it was beautifully cooked. First time was beer battered fish - 3 pieces red snapper perfectly cooked with chips and salad. Second time was pan fried red snapper with potato bake and salad. Hubbys burger was perfectly cooked and delicious.
Certainly worth a try!

By far the best service and food we have experienced on this trip to Bali.

The service was excellent with a welcome towel, big smiles and drink on arrival.

The drinks were delivered fast, were correct and delicious. Mixed alcoholic and nonalcoholic slushies pre- prepared and icy cold.

The food was extremely good. The homemade lasagna was as good as any italian restaurant, the burger was huge and moist, and the mixed grill had a wide variety of meats - all which were tender and melt in your mouth.

The music was at a comfortable volume which meant that you talk and watch the various sports on the many televisions.

Restaurant was cool with fans blowing everywhere and accompanied by an icy cold slushy and the lounge chairs and pillows made for somewhere to relax for a while in the heat.

Service continued to be available and top level during our whole visit. Once a drink was consumed you were asked immediately if you would like another. Service and smiles continued even after the bill was paid.
