“Fresh BBQ seafood”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

There are several BBQ seafood places on this strip of beach close to the Four Seasons. Our favorite is TEBA. We keep coming back here every time. Fresh seafood, reasonably priced and right on the beach.

“Overpriced Jimbaran Bay beachside restaurants, just a con job”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

We were conned into going to a seafood restaurant in Jimbaran Bay by a hotel staff member, we wondered if he got a kick back?
He arranged for a car from the restaurant to collect us and drop us off.
We think it was called the Melasti, but I think they are all much of a muchness, all in a row together.
After a 45 min drive from Seminyak we pulled into what seemed a backyard or courtyard, and were shown through a bare restaurant to the beach where rows of tables and chairs are on the beach facing the water. the sand and water was full of rubbish, and yet there were people playing and swimming in the water! we saw bottles and plastic bags and various pieces of debris and driftwood, up to full palm tree trunks in the water and strewn on the beach! People told us it was just the strong weather and winds at the time, and not normally so dirty and polluted, but surely for a tourist spot like this, an attempt would be made to clean it up a bit? it looked disgusting. The sunset was so-so, the drinks list was small so it was Bintang or Arak! no thanks. the menu is mainly ordering seafood by weight which can be very deceptive, the food we ordered was OK, but very limited, only rice or greens available as a side. The ride home was with another couple, and they too felt they had been conned. it was a horrible setting and you felt were forced to stay there and eat, or maybe have trouble getting transport out of there.
Honestly people, don't waste your time and money going to these Jimbaran Bay restaurants.

A great beach safe for swimming and so many great seafood restaurants to choose from. Great at Sunset over a few drinks and then the food!
