hi, 
we booked from Oyo ( Value hotel and Spa)  in mussoorie from 11 July till 20 July 2016 and that was a pathetic trip of ours.
1. First of all the reception staff refused to provide us rooms against our bookings moreover the reception staff was very rude.
2. when I called Oyo then the manager of Oyo visited our hotel and resolved the issue.
3. When we saw the menu for the breakfast,  their were no eggs included and the options which were there were in limited quantity (one person can have one sandwich or one parantha and not more than that), then what is the mean for complimentary breakfast? limited quantity? 
4. when I called oyo then they changed the menu and added some eggs in the new menu but the quantity was not changed, it was still limited.
5. the kitchen was on contract with some contractor Mr. Rawat and he was very rude with all the guests,  when we called him to place an order from new menu, then he refused and started fighting with hotel manager Mr. Dilveer in the front of all the guests which was very embarrassing. He was saying that the hotel is paying him INR 60/- for one breakfast but for 2 eggs it will cost more and if hotel will increase the price from 60/- to 80/- then only he will serve eggs. after so many arguments he decided to serve.
6. from our 3 rooms,  one room 204 with an extra bed,  one day a monkey broke the glass of the window and when we informed the reception,  they told us to pay INR 650/- for that and we got the glass replaced on our own for which we have got the bill of the local glass vendor.

7. It was an amazing that one of our room 204 that can be opened with any other room key, and someone theft INR 3000/- From our room, that night we were having dinner in the restaurant with our family,  and the reception staff started fighting with us as they were not ready to show us the recording of our room corridor. the staff was so rude and told us not to sit here and you guys have to leave our hotel right now and even they started threatening us. when I called oyo in midnight after this scene they told us that it is not the part of Oyo, and you guys have to sort this matter on your own. and they even suggested us that we can log the complaint in the local police station. Oyo Customer service logged in a complaint on that night and told us that our ground staff will visit you in the morning but till we checked out of the hotel no body came.

 8. The kitchen staff was pathetic in the means of their service as well as ego, and the hotel reception staff was having so ego that it seems that they were not serving us,  as if they are the owner of the hotel.

 

I will suggest my near and dears that not to book from Oyo in near future and will try to post all this incident on trip advisor also.

The place was exceptional with a beautiful view of the hill queen . The service was very good and hospitality very good.although kitchen needs improvement to serve better quality of food. But overall nice experience to have a quiet holiday.ambience of the place very peaceful and good connectivity with the markets and other activities. We would stay there again.

The best thing about the hotel is it's location. It is close to Mall road yet away from the crowd, noise and chaos. Even if you don't want to around sight seeing, the terrace on top gives a beautiful and relaxing view.
The staff was very cheerful and co operative. Service is a bit slow but manageable.
Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Overall a good stay.

Room tip: If possible choose the room with balcony for great view

Firstly, the location of this hotel is just perfect and peaceful. Secondly, the staff was so kind and helpful.
They have their own car parking, yeah food was not so good,they tied up with oyo and the rooms were big and clean overall 9 on 10 for this hotel

2 night stayed at this hotel last week.They have the poorest service i had ever seen before. No body is taken responsibility for any thing in the hotel.

Hotel management is not at all responsible for room service aur food quality because they given their kitchen to some contractor on Commission basis.If you ordered something from menu you have to wait for 45 - 50 Min.

They used the name SPA in the hotel name but they dont have any setup aur staff during the season for that,either we r ready to pay fpr this bt they denied for it..

If you park ur vehicle in their parking area and then u wanna go anywhere on ur vehicle, there is no chance to took the vehicle out due to poor facility of staff nd management...

God bless them who booked their rooms in this poor hotel....
