I made the booking the previous day of my arrival there. The three families- my parents, my brother's, and mine- six adults and two kids, were desperate to escape the hot and parched plains for a few days, and have a short while together- I was visiting from abroad and in the previous two weeks of my stay at home there hadn't been any together-time, the heat was sapping our energy.
There was initial hesitation due to the cost but once we reached the property, and spread ourselves on the chairs on the veranda under a much mellowed sun with a cool breeze to keep company and saw the kids playing on the lawn and the swing-seat, we felt it was probably worth it.
The rooms are spread out with a common living cum dining area offering ample opportunity to catch up on happenings in each other's lives, eat and make merry. We did precisely that.
The food prepared by the care taker couple- Selvaraj and his wife was excellent- what we requested, at the time we requested, with just the right quantity, served at a table for eight and waited upon unobtrusively.
