We arrived late afternoon after travelling for many hours. Our check-in went smoothly and were offered a queen bedded room overlooking the lake. The room was lovely, as was the view. The room was clean, and very functional, but nothing over the top. The bathroom offered a large walk in shower. The hotel offered some really nice common areas with alot of ambiance. They also had a nice swimming pool. The loungers could use a good cleaning, and I had to go to the upper deck for some sun as the pool was shaded.
As someone else mentioned the dining room had a strange vibe, so we decided against having dinner there. Breakfast was ok, and offered the usual fare of Indian items and cooked to order eggs.
The hotel was very good value and was in a nice location. It was an easy tuk tuk ride away from the old town with very narrow, quaint streets. We had a wonderful dinner on the lake, in front of the Lake Palace.More
