Beautiful decor and rooms. Extremely obliging service - the manager Meru was intent on making sure we enjoyed our stay. After we checked out he said my group (we were 6) could come back and use the facilities to freshen up after our desert camel ride and before catching our train to Jaipur. It was was greatly appreciated and over and above what we expected as we'd already checked out and came back very late. It enabled us to be fresh for our overnight train journey, which Meru had the foresight of knowing we would need! I did have 2 issues: the smell of the open sewage outside wafting into the rooms and the air conditioner not working properly in both the first room we were put in and then in the second room we were moved to. However, we told Meru and he said the issues would be addressed in coming months as the hotel is still under construction. Well worth the stay for the beautifully decorated rooms and impeccable service.

I visited Jaisalmer for work purposes and eventually choose Helsinki House for my stay. The property is very near to the railway station and the Fort road. Staff will make sure that you feel at home are ready to help you with anything. Maru, The manager there is a superstar.

Cheers . Keep up the good work
