The fort is a massive construction and interesting to visit. The audio tour was quite good and is important for tourists to do if you want to understand the history and gain a depth of knowledge about the fort and the occupants.
We had a great guide for the day who took us around the local area as well as to the biggest Haveli in Jaisalmer. Absolutely stunning!

Gorgeous fort in the desert. Very laid back town with wonderful havelis and sights. Definitely worth a visit. Step out of the ussle and bustle of india and into the past.

The Jaisalmer fort is very unique. The fort area is new and restored and the king has allowed the locals to stay within the compound premises, permits cars, shops, restaurants and everything else to flourish. It feels like you are within another city altogether.

We did not enter the palace or fort itself but the fort is the only to-do thing in Jaisalmer so do pay this a visit!
