Guys don't get flattered by the pictures given online and think thrice before booking. During our stay we faced the following problems:
1. AC not working.
2. Geyser not working.
3. Electric kettle not working.
4. charging points not working.
5. old / cracked cups in tea kit.
6. Elevators out of order (We were on the 3rd floor).
... They turned a deaf ear to every complain (except for the cups.. replaced ultimately); and whoever came to attend the complains went away saying that he will be sending someone.

Unclean rooms, lousy lift (always under maintenance), horrible service greet you. Food is exorbitantly costly with hardly any taste and fleecing new customers is a trend well ingrained into the system.

This hotel is currently undergoing renovation as a new restaurant is being added in the ground floor. The complimentary break fast is ok. The staff are very courteous and every one in the staff ensures that they greet the clients every time they meet. The room service was also good. The room size is bit smaller but is enough for a single traveler. The front office was courteous and responds quickly. The speed of wifi was good. This hotel with once the restaurant complete will be a good place at Bhubaneswar.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor room

We reached the hotel about 4.30 p.m.I ,at the time of booking requested to give one room at lower floor nd the other room at higher floor as my 80 yrs mother has problem stying in upper floor. But we found both rooms are in upper floor being room no. 502 nd 506. Which appears that the hotel authority do not care to the request of the guest. In the room we find the tea/coffee etc. are there but no ketly so we asked for ketly to boil the water. We were provided with a ketly which appeared to be old but we did not mind nd we boiled the water nd made tea after sipping the last part of the tea I smell some smell of cockroach and after further inspection found that there were cockroach waist in the ketly and some in the cup.Which resulting my 80 years old mother having a loose motion for 14/15 times and further resulted to cancel our trip to Jajpur in the early morning resulting loss of money as we could not avail the train tickets reserved for to and fro to jajpur. We informed the incident to the authority , no one was bothered about it , no applogies were ever tendered by any higher officials. On 18th night the AC in the room no.506 was sounding like a generator and could not sleep rest of the night. Food price is too high though quality of food was good. The property wasnt that bad but this should have been in the hands of qualified professionals and not in the hands of laymen. Overall our stay for 3 nights was a nightmear.

The presidency is indeed a traveller''s delight. Best location, superb food, fantastic staff, sparkling rooms, awesome service and i would say its a home away from home. Its the number one hotel in Bhubaneshwar. I stayed in Presidency for a month for work and everyday has been very pleasant and memorable.
I would recommend this hotel to every one who so ever is visiting either for work or vacation. Im sure you going to have a wonderful experience!!!! :)

Room Tip: Go as per your need.
