The Arches is a beautiful Hotel in the center of Fort Kochi, located in the Roses Street. So you can walk everywhere within short distance. Despite the fact that it is located so central it is nevertheless a very quite and calm place. As I arrived there very stressed, -because I had not slept for almost 48 hours-, this was very important for me. On top, Rajnish the manager who checked me in that night, was such a kind person. I felt very welcomed and taken care of, espscially by him. He immediately realized my stress-level and was really empathic and did everything so that I would be able to recover from a long travelling. Apart from that: The rooms are big, very clean, beautiful and modern bath rooms, the AC works very well and silently also, hot water of course at any time, and the wifi is working well also. The breakfast ist served on such a beautiful roof top terrasse and is very good. Of course it is not the cheapest place in town, but it is really worth the money. I was more than glad that I could stay there 3 nights. Great place!

The arches offers spacious rooms and has the potential to be much better if the owners invested in updating it throughout. The rooms are quite tired from the furniture to the bedding.

The food, however, was worth our stay. We found most of the food in southern India to be bland but the Arches didn’t disappoint in this area

Located at the heart of old Fort Kochi the Arches hotel is perfect for exploring the old town. Chinese fishing nets & St Francis Church are 4min & 1min walk away respectively, and Jew town and the Dutch palace 10 min tuk-tuk ride away. As a 3-star hotel the rooms and facilities are basic but they are clean and we had everything we needed. Breakfast is served on the hotel’s rooftop, which is really nice, and the breakfast itself is limited but the staff will cook pancakes/eggs for you. Overall a great stay.

My Mum and Step-dad stayed at The Hotel Arches during their trip to India, in January. Whilst they were staying there it was my Mum's Birthday so I sent an email to the Hotel to ask them to pass on Birthday wishes and include a flower, if possible, greatfully expecting one from the garden. Rajnish and his team went above and beyond presenting my Mum with a big bouquet of flowers and a card (at no cost), giving her such a lovely surprise and really making her day. Thank you once again to Rajnish & the Hotel Arches.

Excellent location very near to the Chinese fishing nets and the old fort. Hotel was clean and reasonably comfortable however the rooms at the back of the building are quite noisy from the kitchen fans / aircon…luckily this turns off over night. Hotel has a rooftop restaurant which give nice views over the rooftops however breakfast itself was fairly poor with little selection.
