“atmospheric”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

The visit helps you to understand some of the history of the early settlement. The memorial plaques and tombstones are interesting and although Vasco de Gama's remains are no longer there, his stone is in the church. I found the early ventilation system operated by workers from outside the church to be fascinating.

“A little bit of history”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

It's a little bare in there and you have to remove your shoes but interesting if you like churches.

“beautiful and historic spot”

The church is a must on your trip through Cochin! Stay in the old fortress neighborhood. Walk around and see the church itself, the cemeteries and the synagog. The old houses look a mixture of English, Dutch and German (and that is exactly what they are).

“The Church where Vasco da Gama was buried”
Reviewed 18 February 2012

A rather plain but very historical church with an extant punka system and the original gravestone of Vasco da Gama

“Pretty average”
Reviewed 17 February 2012

Not a huge amount to see here - pretty average church. Most interesting for the fact that Kerala has such a large Christian population
