Treat yourself with this high standard historical hotel. Prize and quality are always connected, but here you get a lot of value for few money in the middle of cozy Kochi. Nice, clean rooms A/C , mosquitonets and sufficient hot water. A sign on the wall of the stairway says it all: " you are walking on history". Good café and professional staff.

We were at the lovely and quaint precinct of fort cochin ( in kochi, kerala) .this place was once a colonial outpost of the dutch and then part of the British east india co.. this area still maintains the old & natural look of the place .we lived in the old courtyard- a small yet nice hotel that is nestled amidst fort cochin..and takes one back to the glorious days of yore..the rooms are clean, have nice high ceilings, a four poster bed and a nice corridor that opens into a courtyard.overall a great place to stay in fort cochin, for those that like and are nostalgic about a slice of the good ole days.. we did not eat here, as there a lot of nice options around the viscinity ....

Loved the space they have created and maintained. The people there were very helpful too. There's no internet access in the room. So you have to come down to the lobby for wifi. Room was clean & comfortable.

This is a charming hotel in the heart of Fort Cochin. It does not provide gleaming 5 star accommodation. However, the 4 of us (UK women of varying ages) thought it delightful. The rooms have a lovely colonial feel. The bathrooms are fairly basic. However, there are sitting areas to relax and a really charming, hospitable and helpful host. You can swim in nearby places (the Cochin Club, the Tower Inn (?) for around 500 Rs and are very close to the beach and shops. A great base - and if you are looking to tour more widely in Kerala, please check out Sanguine Holidays, which organised us the most luxurious and wonderful trip.

This hotel is located in the old part of Kochin. The rooms are huge and very charming. The breakfast is simple but adequate. It is located on the main street. So there are lots of restaurants nearby. If you want to have a beer just go to the old harbour hotel. Alcoholic drinks are due to a court order not available in shops, hotels and restaurants. With the one exception that is.
