This is a very well located hotel in Fort Cochin. The staff is friendly. The rooms are spacious despite being already old and the meals are of average quality. the breakfast is not at the level of the remaining meals. I recommend this hotel, but I can not consider it excellent at the level of a Relaix and Chateaux

We're reaching the end of a 5-night stay which has been the highlight of our two week visit to India. Kerala is quite beautiful, Fort Kochi is a haven of relative tranquility by Indian standards, and Malabar House is a gem of a boutique hotel whose biggest asset is the wonderful attitude of all of the staff. Whether serving made-to order breakfast or the beautiful dinners in the hotel's Malabar Junction restaurant, checking out the rooms more than once a day to replace towels or deliver complimentary fruit, freshly-baked cookies and chocolate, arranging excursions at short notice (our half-day backwaters cruise was quite wonderful), everything is done efficiently and always with a smile. We can't recommend it highly enough.

Come here for a very special experience with great service and superb food. The rooms are delightful with wonderful art and the swimming pool is wonderfully warm. The hotel is very central in this lovely town! Don’t miss staying here in the hotel or visiting the city

We stayed our last three nights in India here. Just a great experience. Hotel is beautiful, nice pool, excellent restaurant and superb staff. We ate all three nights in the Malabar Junction restaurant and each night it was very good . Especially the last night we had a seafood platter, which is a wonderful selection grilled in Kerala spices. Exceptional seafood! Service was great. We were very well looked after and the dinner setting is lovely. If you want you can sit in the middle of the courtyard and listen to the live music , quietly played. We sat back away and it was nice and quiet. Wasn’t t bothered at all by mosquitoes. Thanks to everyone there for a great stay

Stayed here late Jan at the start of our Kerala tour, it is an easy walk to fishing nets, harbour, and the old Church of St Francis. Just a tut tut ride to "Jew Town" to see the very old synagogue and active trading area.
The hotel is clean and well run. Food was excellent.
My only concern was internet was free for about 12hrs, on a card system, but i found my card access only lasted about 2 hours, and had to keep asking for a new card.
But only a minor problem
Would recommend this hotel if staying in Cochin area.
