My husband and I are always looking for places that are not on the usual tourist map. We like our peace and quiet, homely good and don't need much else.
Villa urvinkhan has spectacular rooms . Antique furniture, spacious baths, shower in an open garden and an infinity pool that look over a green green valley.
If you like waking up to the sound of birds and don't mind just chilling out by the pool with your favorite book, then this is the place for you.
Take long walks into the estate or ride an ATV around the property or hang out in the spacious living room and play a game of chess or laze on your verandah with a cup of coffee.
Great photo spots because the gardens are well maintained and the red stone walls of the property make a stunning backdrop.
Staff are courteous and simple people. There are only 6 rooms for guests. So it's unlikely to get crowded. We were lucky enough to visit when no one else was around. Made it all the more peaceful.
If you plan to stay longer than a couple of days, you can drive around to the temple towns of Belur and Halloween. These Hoysala temples are of historical relevance and protected sites. More
