We stayed next door at Taj Fort Agueda for a week and ate dinner at Tony’s on three evenings. Very friendly and accommodating with Kingfisher beer
half the price for twice the quantity compared to the hotel. All dishes were excellent but we did enjoy the seafood platter. Just order the day before.?

Thank ian s

There are plenty of shacks to chose from along the beach but this one is great to sit and just watch the water sports right in front of you whist you enjoy a tasty lunch. Very competitive pricing and wide menu choice. Has steep steps to access from the adjacent Fort Aguada hotel and monument.

Tony’s is without question the best beach shack we visited, so much so that we went back repeatedly. Super tasty food, and Tony will also cook to order and make recommendations. He also really understands what it means when you ask for gluten free food and will make gluten free bread (with sorghum flour) and fry chips in separate clean oil. Portions are substantial and prices are very reasonable.
Located at the end of Candolim / Sinquerim Beach between the two Taj hotels.

Staying at the Taj Aguada we ran into a lovely English couple who recommended this place.
The food is delicious and the staff friendly. They recalled our drink orders from the day prior and without asking approached our table with the same beverages. Nice touch!
The onion bhaji and vegetable papads were great. Paneer tikka marsala, tandoori prawns were also lovely.
When asked about the seafood Tony brought out the uncooked tiger prawns to show me & I felt reassured of the quality given back home we are spoiled with large Spencer Gulf prawns ( mind you they are over 2500 INR per kilo uncooked).
Prices are very reasonable and beer nicely chilled.
Highly recommended
Thanks Tony and staff

My husband and I ate dinner here one night to have a change from the expensive eateries at the Taj. The food at Tony's was probably better (lovely chicken tikka masala and chicken sizzler) at a fraction of the prize, we sat directly on the beach and Tony and his staff were very friendly. Would recommend!
