“My fascinating location in india”
Reviewed 2 April 2010

It was one of the finest holidays in my life till date. My family consisting of my wife and daughter krishaa landed down in Jamnagar and did fetch a tourist car and proceeded towards the fascinating beach destination .....Diu. Our journey witnessed the patriotic city of porbandar,,, Father of India's destination. Guys and girls, if you ever thought of kissing the beaches enroute any destination then coastal road journey to Diu from jamnagar (
Gujarat, India) is the greatest option,,, Wow, our wings started cherishing the desires and it was a fabulous vision that we had when we reached Diu. Diu is a small island like place which is clean and beautiful with lots of water sports activities and sea scenics. We stayed in The Hoka Resort and the stay was awesome. The hospitality extended by the staff was touching in nature. The Resort Hoka, Diu is a reticent and charming hotel away from the hustles and bustles of the city-life. It is located at a stone’s throw from the Nagoa Beach. The out door swimming pool and the multicuisine restaurant are the picks of the hotel. The best part of the location is that the Nagao beach is just in the proximity of the hotel and it offers beautiful live pictures of the people on the beach..... so go and enjoy so that you can really soak in to the tonic of leisure and lethargic moods at Diu.

“warm little place”
Reviewed 26 August 2007

Ever thought about going on that sea shore vacation but opted out of it thinking about the Highly inflated cost of everything in the vicinity.well if you happen to be in this category, think twice.Just across the Gujarat border and a distance of about 200Kms.from Nasik or Bombay(Mumbai) is this quaint liitle Union territory of Daman.Low cost hotels(but not lacking in luxury),good food, great sight seeing, lovely beaches and a mild taste of the exotic goan life is what Daman is made up of.
Buses and Trains are what the normal traveller would want to take from Nasik or Mumbai to Valsad or Vapi(Industrial Township in Gujarat). For the luxurious even flights are in order
It is a paradise for the Alcohol lover. The Soft natured Sweet talking Bohori's are the Main traders bringing in a small little market full of Imported Items and attractions pose as the shoppers delight.it is a place one should visit at least once to really experience the wonders of nature in real economy.
