2. Rooms hygiene
I know this property since 1994 but never stepped in. To give a try for the deal I got from Meghalaya I stayed in there with my family for couple of days. If I list out things chronologically I made booking through phone and by the time I reached reception they didn't have the record... I worried about tariff may go up on dynamic pricing. But Staff responded very politely saying still I can hope for same tariff and with little more payment they upgraded my booking.Thats very first step any guest get pleased. Then the service staff did their best to convince me Meghalaya owns good staff.
Rooms are quite OK with beds and linens... I felt extra bed given should have been provided with some nice mattress as well as linen.
Meghalaya having strict policy on not allowing food from out side.Apart from having policy Meghalaya should focus on why guests may prefer outside food rather than having in house.
Being property is bit old they are renovating the property. But should focus strictly on pest control to compete with younger rival properties. More
