A resort bringing us so much surprises in our honeymoon trip
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 5 Mar 2017
Accommodation
The villas of this hotel are buried in the a dense and beautiful tropical forest, which indicates that the hotels is suitable for people who wanna escape from the noisy urban city life. All villas are not equipped with TVs or other entertainment devices except WiFi, although, it's provide you other choices different from living the urban city: you can relax yourself by chatting with your sweat heart in the quite night, playing with him/her in the swimming pool, taking a cool SPA by the natural wind, counting the stars in the dark sky...
Each villa is also equipped with large number of hangers, which facilitate us so much because the activities here will make our dresses wet, we need to hang lots of clothes everyday.

Foods
Unlimited bottles of Fijian water are complimentary in each villa. Everyday, you can choose your breakfast, lunch and dinner from different menus. The ordered dishes is unlimited, you can eat to full. During our four days' living there, we eat our meals in different places with different beautiful see views. Especially, eating in a decorated stone cave impressed my wife very much, she said she had never imagined eating in such a romantic restaurant.

Activities
The resort provided with us various of complimentary activities: kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, hand-line fishing. All of these items are organized by the young guys very well, they were not simply fulfilling their work items, they were helping us to entertain yourself more. However, you must pay the transportation fee if the activity spot cannot be reached by walk.

Cheryl Jacobson from Fijivacations.com and all the staff at the resort (Especially Ma) made this one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had in my life. I can't wait to visit again! I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in being pampered in one of the most amazing places on earth. The adventures were all top notch, and the downtime helped to highlight the natural beauty this island has to offer. Please do yourself a favor and book this trip immediately!

Savasi Island is an amazing place, the resort location is stunningly beautiful, the accommodation is private and secluded, the food and cocktails are very fine, activities are great, and it is a place of beautiful tranquility.

My only slightly negative point would be that the owners need to ensure they keep investing in the villas, the accommodation is in danger of looking ever so slightly tired, a couple of minor things in the villas need upgrading; this is not an issue at the moment but is worth mentioning.

What really sets this place apart are the staff; they are very welcoming very genuine, and they are 110% focused on making sure that each and every guest has a wonderful time. We have stayed at many 5* hotels over the years but I have never experienced before the warmth and quality of service offerred by the staff at this resort.

The staff at Savasi are beautiful, they welcomed us and made us feel comfortable, safe and even though it was full house when we were there, they didn't fail to make us feel like the only ones. The care and attention was beyond expectations.
Junior took great care of us, making sure we got in the activities we wanted to do everyday and the food was good.
We were there end of December - January, to see the new year in, the weather was amazing!!
The New Year's Eve celebration that the family prepared for us for out of this world, every little detail that goes into the decorations, did not go unnoticed!
I can't wait to go back there!
Until next time Ma, Isaac, junior, Vito and the rest of the big Savasi family big love

It was the combination of many little moments that made our week at Savasi so fantastic and memorable.
As you cross the bridge from Hibiscus Highway into Savasi you are transported to an amazing island with incredible beauty of both nature and people. Our Bure (Sea Breeze) was set perfectly in the trees overlooking an amazing beach and the ocean. We woke each morning to incredible views, and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Each morning we were greeted by Titi and Vito at breakfast with their amazing Fijian smiles, an incredible breakfast and breath taking views of the ocean. Junior would come during breakfast to arrange our activities for the day.

Each day brought a new adventure with the Team Savasi Guides. A hike to a new peak in the pouring rain, Robert towing my kids ( Aged 3 and 6) behind the paddle board in the incredible salt lake. Saku quietly rolling a towel and putting it behind my daughters very tired head on the way back from an incredible waterfall tour. Apelle placing his kayak between my son's kayak and the rocks as we paddled around the incredible Savasi island. The attention to detail, and incredible care and kindness will be hard to forget, and made for incredible relaxation and fun for both the adults and kids!

After a fun filled day, Kesa and Issac would serve us an incredible dinner (in a different location each night!) taking time to visit, explain what we were eating and sharing Fijian history. One evening after a particularly fun filled day, Issac noticed my daughter was looking a little tired and had moved from the table to one of the comfy couches in the dining area, after a period of time he re appeared with a blanket. In between serving tables he had walked down to the laundry to get the blanket without a word from us. Again the care and attention to detail is like non other.

A review could be written on the food alone at Savasi. The fresh and local ingredients are fresh and light and leave you feeling nourished and full without feeling heavy. The fern and lobster salad is something not to be missed! The chefs would have food on the table quickly for the kids and time the rest of the meal with Swiss precision. They often would check in to make sure everything was as we liked, if there was anything specific we would like to see. There were the perfect number of options each day to make sure everyone could pick something perfect to suit their craving for the day. The lovo on Friday night was delicious and the chefs served everyone again taking the time to explain each dish! Thank you chefs for sharing your amazing pancake sauce recipe!

A huge thank you from our family to Ma and her family at Savasi for the incredible care and memories - when you arrive Ma will welcome you home and it couldn't be more true!

Room tip: Just ask Ma. She will take care of you better then you could imagine!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon.

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was five star and exceeded our expectations.

A big thank you to Isaac, Vito, Atesh, Titti, Ma, Robert, Junior and Sampson, we can't thank you enough for making our stay even more enjoyable.

The food was five stars and blew us away. We have eaten in many five star restaurants and found the food choices and flavours amazing. A huge thank you to Atesh for serving up some fantastic meals - a big asset to the resort. Isaac's service was impeccable.

We enjoyed going out on the activities with Robert who made them so much more fun.

We also thoroughly enjoyed our massages with Vito. She was fantastic and another great credit to the resort.

Would highly recommend Savasi Island for your honeymoon or couples stay.

Thanks again Savasi and hope to be back soon!
