Turtle island offers you an unique experience where you and your love can spend half a day alone on a secluded private beach every other day. The cuisine is outstanding with ingredients mostly sourced locally from their own garden and farm. The staff are so lovely and attentive. There are also plenty of activities keeping you constantly entertained if you choose to. A perfect place for a digital detox as there in no TV or wifi at your villa. It’s a place where you would like to keep coming back.

We recently spent our most idyllic holiday ever with the beautiful Turtle family to celebrate a birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary. From the moment we were carried off the sea plane to the time we said our very sad goodbyes at the end of our holiday we genuinely felt as if we had been wrapped and held in an enormous hug by every local on the island. The beaches and bures feel like you have stepped into a postcard and the food is absolutely divine, but it is truly the people that make this such an incredibly special place. From our Bure Mama Adi to every person who played a part in making every whim and desire a reality during our stay we cannot thank you enough. Thankyou also for sharing your proud culture with us and giving us a glimpse into your history, and for allowing us to be part of your National Day on October 10 (and it was wonderful to be able to share my birthday with your Independance Day celebrations!)
I now completely understand why so many of the reviews we read prior to our holidays were from returning visitors, and we will definitely be back for our 25th Anniversary!
