Review is bit late but had our 5th visit to the Lido in June/July and have to say its really like home from home. What draws us back the uniqueness of the hotel, location and fantastic staff headed by the ever so helpful manager, Mr Tamer. Its just so relaxing here. Due to the small size of the hotel you really are pampered.
Our first week in Sharm was spent in a different hotel in Sharks Bay with the family, during this week my hubby booked a meal for a special occasion at the Lido`s On Deck Restaurant (my favourite restaurant anywhere) and I have to say a massive thank you to Mr Tamer for this night….It really was very special.
All the staff are really so friendly, helpful and chatty.
The food and drinks remain consistently excellent and the restaurants here have the most fantastic views of the whole of Naama Bay. The menu changes every day so the food never gets boring and the chefs always try to oblige if you request something different.
Once a week you get to eat at the On Deck as part of the A/I, there is a show of whirling dancers and belly dancing, this is always a great night.
Rooms are kept spotless clean, with every room having an amazing sea view. I have never seen sunrises or sunsets as spectacular as from this hotel. My profile picture is a sunrise from room 218.
The beach is always immaculately kept by the lovely and always smiling Seoudi. There is no shortage of sunbeds and shades for every guest as it is a small hotel, and Mackram is an angel with his scented ice cold flannels and spray.
A new addition to this holiday was the Poseidon dive school located in the hotel just beside the beach, which is very handy, as the boats leave Naama Bay for the day trips from just next door to the Lido… fabulous to watch from the breakfast terrace.
A very short walk (3 mins) brings you into the heart of Naama Bay, which we always enjoy strolling around and shopping, but the hotel is still far enough away so the noise is not a problem. One night a week Pacha have a loud night, once your door is closed you can hardly hear anything, so it never bothers us.
Again a big Thank You to Mr Tamer and all the crew for another great holiday.

First time in in the resort and was pleasantly surprised. Airport immigration a bit chaotic but hey ho. Hotel itself a bit tired but very clean and the staff are great. If you like swimming this place really is unbelievable. Location is spot on as you can go for a bit of a wander during the day when it is quiet (but really hot) or in the evening when this place rocks. OK a bit of sales hassle but no worse than Tenerife etc so you get used to it. Food in the hotel good and again the guys were really helpful but not in your face.
Thanks especially to Makram, Mohammed and Hassan - really nice guys and last but by no means least to Nora the massage lady.
The reception people and management were very professional - thank you and I promise we will return the room key by courier as soon as possible - my fault.
We did this cheap and easy with a well known budget luton airline and a bit of work on the internet. My only regret is booking 1 week instead of 2.
Another thing was the people who stayed in the hotel were a friendly bunch from many nations.
I did quite a bit of walking during the day and to be honest was glad we picked the hotel we stayed at.
Cheers and thanks to all who made our stay a welcome one and a very comfortable experience.

Room Tip: Try and book a room on the top floor towards the front on the hotel. So rooms 220 - 226 I think. We...

Visited Iberotel lido back in February 2012 we cannot praise the hotel highly enough All of the staff from the management to the waiters bar & pool staff could not have been more helpfull. Yes we all know the bar staff etc do help you as muc h as possible hoping for a tip when you leave but to us they were genuine, I was talking to the manager one day & mentioned that we were dissapointed that we missed out on eating at the outdoor restrauant which sits out over the sea this is their al a carte dining area where once a week it is open to everyone, Unforunatley due to a sand storm is was cancelled on the due night however the manager gave us a complimentary tickets which was realy kind & generous of him as he did not have to do so, The hotel itself is in a prime location right on the sea and only a short 5 min walk from nama bay itself if you want to go shopping. All of the rooms have a sea view with balconyswhich are excellent for just sitting out in and relaxing, Because it is only a small hotel there is very little entertainment however if all you are looking for is a relaxing holiday this hotel has to be taken seriously, We know if we ever go back to Sharm again this is the hotel we would like to go back to.

Room Tip: Try and get he room in the centre of the hotel as you will get better views of the sea

Enjoyed a week all inclusive at this hotel -
Staff were friendly and attentive
Plenty of choice food and drinks wise, perfectly adequate
No faults with the hotel - great location, especially eating on the deck watching the boats
Only downside is the hassle you get outside the hotel - particularly as two women, but totally expected.
Overall great holiday and Fab weather
There are a few comments on here re the noise from the night club 'Pasha' only heard this on Saturday night - apart from that not an issue
