15 Day's from December the 26th 2011 The Hotel was spotless and the room good with a super king size bed although more like a 3 star. The food was tasteless and if you used the Hotel Chinese wear a warm coat, The Indian and Italian not rated and all three have the same chef with the food coming from the one kitchen. The bars serve you beer from open bottles often warm and flat. The Hotel Gardens and staff were good although the spa guys pester the women every day. When you complain about the spa prices they tell you they can drop the prices. We used a Spa Hamman in Naama Bay which was better. We ate in Nabq bay twice which about ten minutes by taxi at bar one where the food was excellent. In the Camel Bar in Naama Bay you can watch both Scottish and English football as it has 5 screens with different games. There is no beach at the hotel so if you want to swim go to Nabq Bay by taxi.Take taxi's outside the hotel as the hotel adds on 30% + to the cost. Anyone who recomends this hotel is obviously used to eating rubbish and has never been in a proper 5 star hotel. We wished we had gone to the Hilton now but once at this resort is enough. Book a flight to the Pyramids through the travel agents in Soho Square as they are the cheapest and provide flight, Cairo Museum, Nile Cruise, Lunch and then a visit to the Pyramids honestly fantastic but we would never recomend this Hotel especially after paying over a thousand pounds each.

Booked the Savita very last minute and can say that for £400 i was more than impressed, however there were a few small problems.
On arrival we were allocated our room that was very spacious however was located over the entertainment area which was playing the loudest music ever so we asked to be moved and straight away they moved us to a room at the opposite end of the complex that was a lot quieter.
The rooms are spacious although quite dated however they were nice and clean and there was free bottles of water every day in the fridge and a free safety deposit box.
The shower was warm in the morning however cold in the evening and despite complaining this did not change and on speaking to other guests they had similar problems.
The food was ok although became a bit repetitive and seemed to be aimed more towards the Russian guests. There was very little hot food and what was meant to be hot was often just luke warm. There is a chinese and italian restaurant (the indian was closed) These made a change to the buffet however the chinese was not very good at all as appeared to be cooked with no herbs/spices at all.
The animation team were aimed again at the Russians and were quite annoying especially around the pool as they play the music at about 100 decibels with only a rest at lunch time.
The pool area is beautiful and spotlessly clean with the staff not being able to do enough for you. You do get mithered by the people trying to sell excursions and spa treatments but they are all pleasant enough.
The spa was lovely however a bit busy - but would recommend the turkish bath treatment.
The hotel is a short walk from Soho Square which is beautiful and has a wide range of restaurants for a change from the hotel food.
Due to the time of year the hotel was very quiet which i liked as i think in peak season it would be a nightmare due to the size of the hotel and i dread to think what the restaurants would be like.
Overall i had a lovely time in glorious weather and would recommend anyone that wants a cheap and cheerful break in the sun.

We were worried initially as read bad reviews after booking but we were very happy with the overall holiday. The hotel is great in respect of staff are superb, always happy and very friendly. The food was good and service impeccable. We were there 3 weeks and the service never wavered. Special thanks to el sayeed, amr , mohammed, kalieem and machmood! There is diving directly on site and the staff are again superb. ( hi Chris, haddi , luca, rami and all, we miss u) . You will get staff from the spa regularly trying to sell you treatments but they are friendly and won't push too much if you are clear with what you do and do not want. The rooms are a bit tired but big and the sea views superb, the cleaning service is excellent daily. Good point to tip a little to a few staff at beginning of holls ensures their undevided attention and excellent service throughout. Would not say this hotel is a 5 star more 4 but excellent value for money. Would return.

the rooms are not 5 star in need of a up grade asap, the reception staff are a waste of time just like the thomas cook rep. first 3 days was not happy about the hotel room but the rest of the hotel made up for things , great staff with very nice friendly attitude , the piano bar does great coffee and the food is very good 10/10.
indian and italian resteraunts are very good and free, shops in hotel are rip offs so shop at namma bay taxis about £10 return or use the free hotel bus , sohs square is very expensive ..ie , queen vic , £27 for 4 pints and 2 cocktails,??
taxis are cheeper just out the gate with a little haggle
grounds very clean and comfortable ,good diving and the staff put on a great spread for christmas and new year really pulled all the stops out. and by then the run down rooms were forgotton about.

so all in all not 5 star rooms , staff are great , and grounds and diving spot on , will not use this hotel again but if the price is right go for it ,,,

Room Tip: i think all rooms are well worn we were in 6109 not a sea view but nice and quiet.
