I had read about this restaurant on-line which now appears to be called Catherwood (or something similar). It is right on the front of the Marina and has a terrace outside (great for summer but not a cool January evening). We sat inside - it is light bright and airy and the tables are well presented. They did have pictures of cuts of steak on the walls which I could do without but the rest of the décor was pleasant.
The welcome was good and professional throughout. The starters are limited but a good range of steaks and meat dishes for the main courses. My rib-eye was not the best cooked but had good flavor. My partner had another cut which was very very good. As part of the meal you get a ceasar salad, herb butter, two types of bread, two sides and a choice of sauce (the pepper sauce was excellent).
Including wine it cost around £60 which is a little more than other restaurants we visited but still very well priced. During our visit there was only one other table and I am surprised this is not frequented more as a very nice dining experience and we would recommend and go back.
